Let God Build Our Road
By Apostle Cathryn Ndyabagye

Many roads in our streets need many repairs worldwide.

Pot-holes, cracks, are uneven, and damaged from weather or from wear and tear.

When roads are damaged it's hard to get to your destination at a fast pace. It slows you down and can also damage your car.

When a road crew goes out to fix the damaged roads, they put gravel on the roads, fill up the pot-holes and even it all out.

Then, they put oil all on it, put pavement or Black Top (on the top part), which is a thick rock tar substance that becomes very hard makes the road smooth.

After they apply the black top, they take a big roller and roll over the top of it to pack it down good and solid, so that it will hold with all the traffic that has to drive over it.

Many Christian travel down their Spiritual road with pot-holes in their heart, in their bodies, emotions, and they have cracks in their relationship with God. Many need repairs. They try to keep their path straight with God.

When we allow God to fill our voids, heal our pot-holes with his love, peace, righteousness, and keep our feet right before him, he will heal all cracks. When we seek first His Kingdom, he takes care of the rest.

God protected Israel and he made a way for them in:

Exodus 23:20
"Behold, I send an Angel before thee,
to keep thee in the way, and to
bring thee into the place which I
have prepared."

When our ways get tough, and the going gets rough in our Christian walk,God helps us and heals our character, heart and any cracks or pot-holes that hinder us.

He knows how to fix them. He helps us to stay in line with the Holy Spirit, and forgives us when we make mistakes.

He restores and raises us up with cleansing. That way our conscience is clear, our feet stay clean before God, and our hearts are right with Him.

He keeps our feet on solid ground so we don't fall:

Psalm 17:5 KJV "Hold up my goings in
thy paths, that my footsteps
slip not.

He establishes our way:

Psalms 85:13 KJV
"Righteousness shall go before him;
and shall set us in the way
of his steps."

Makes our ways straight before us:

ISA. 42:16 KJV And I will bring
the blind by a way that they knew
not; I will lead them in paths that
they have not known: I will make
darkness light before them, and
crooked things straight. These things
will I do unto them, and not forsake
them.

Our desires to walk right before him:

Psalms 5:8 Lead me, O LORD, in thy
righteousness because of mine
enemies; make thy way straight before
my face.

God leads guides, restores and keeps
us On-track:

Psalms 16:11 KJV "Thou wilt shew me the
path of life: in thy presence is fulness
of joy; at thy right hand there are
pleasures for evermore."

Restores and leads us into righteousness:

Psalms 23:3 KJV "He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake."

God knows our ways:

Psalms 139:3 KJV " Thou compassest my
path and my lying down, and art
acquainted with all my ways."

God keeps us hungry for Him and gives us a desire to stay on God's path:

Psalms 16:11 KJV "Thou wilt shew me the
path of life: in thy presence is fulness
of joy; at thy right hand there are
pleasures for evermore."

God shows us the way:

O LORD; teach me thy paths."

To Keep His Covenant and Testimonies:

Psalms 25:10 KJV "All the paths of the
LORD are mercy and truth unto such as
keep his covenant and his testimonies."

The word guides us:

Psalms 119:105 KJV "Thy word is a lamp
unto my feet, and a light unto my path."

God Warns Us Of Wrong Paths and shows us the right way:

Proverbs 1:15 KJV "My son, walk not
thou in the way with them; refrain thy
foot from their path:"

God preserves the saints:

Proverbs 2:8 KJV "He keepeth the paths
of judgment, and preserveth the way of
his saints.

We are to walk in the way of good men by being righteous:

Proverbs 2:20 KJV "That thou mayest walk
in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous."

Established in God's paths and Desire to walk In His Ways:

Proverbs 3:6 KJV "In all thy ways
acknowledge him, and he shall direct
thy paths."

Think about how we are walking and be established in God.

Proverbs 4:26 KJV "Ponder the path
of thy feet, and let all thy
ways be established."

Promises and Truth of the Paths of God:

Proverbs 4:18 KJV "But the path of
the just is as the shining light,
that shineth more and more unto the
perfect day."

The path of the just:

Isa. 26:7 KJV "The way of the just is
uprightness: thou, most upright, dost
weigh the path of the just."

Isa 43:16 KJV "Thus saith the LORD,
which maketh a way in the sea, and a
path in the mighty waters;"

The foundation--the repairer and restorer:

Isa 58:12 KJV "And they that shall
be of thee shall build the old waste
places: thou shalt raise up the
foundations of many generations; and
thou shalt be called, The repairer of
the breach, The restorer of paths to
dwell in."

We will walk in His paths:

Micah 4:2 KJV "And many nations shall
come, and say, Come, and let us go up
to the mountain of the LORD, and to
the house of the God of Jacob; and he
will teach us of his ways, and we will
walk in his paths: for the law shall
go forth of Zion, and the word of the
LORD from Jerusalem."

Make our ways straight:

Hebrews 12:13 KJV "And make straight
paths for your feet, lest that which
is lame be turned out of the way;
but let it rather be healed."

Our Calling:

Matthew 3:3 KJV " 3For this is he
that was spoken of by the prophet
Esaias, saying, The voice of one
crying in the wilderness, Prepare
ye the way of the Lord, make his
paths straight.
