PRACTICAL TEACHINGS IN RELATIONSHIPS 2

By Apostle Cathryn Ndyabagye

Several years ago, a neighbor of mine was thrown out of her home in her underwear by her husband, who abused and misused her.

He even put her in the hospital. He broke her jaw with his fist.

I was going to Bible college at the time, and made it a point to go see her and pray for her at the hospital.

I was so surprised to see her her jaw was wired shut.

I was shocked how a man can be so brutal to hurt a woman that bad.

Hard to believe a man could lose control of his life, and do so much damage to a lady!

I had such compassion for this woman, who was faithful to God, and kind to her vicious, and evil husband.

She ended up leaving him, because he would have killed her, had she stayed with him.

Women do not need to bow down to violence.

God does not want women to bow down to abuse! AMEN

God wants her to live in safety. God does not approve of this type of behavior from anyone who are violent like this!

So why should women stay and think God wants them to suffer like this?

Remember, God called us into liberty and freedom not into bondage!

Women sometimes get the idea that they must endure abuse, and to submit to it, when that is a lie of Satan!

Think about it, even Mary and Joseph fled when she was pregnant with Jesus,  King Herod threatened to kills the babies. God gave them common sense to flee from that area, to get away from danger.

God gives us the wisdom to chose good judgment to use common sense.

God shows us how to handle situations like this, and to know when to flee from them. AMEN

The Bible teaches throughout the Old and New Testament about how God gave liberty.

God set the Hebrews free in Egypt, and took the to the promised land. A covenant was made for the Hebrew slaves to be free.

Then again in, Jeremiah 34 God spoke to Jeremiah concerning the covenant that King Zedekiah made to the people of Jerusalem--To proclaim liberty--meaning that all slaves (both male and female) would be free all bondservants and handmaids.

As soon as the people and princes all agreed to this covenant, they caused the same freed slaves be subject to slavery again to their former masters . This angered God. For they didn't obey this covenant of liberty.

I am sharing the seriousness of when God sets us free, how we need to pay attention to it! And stay free!

God was so upset he put curses on the people for not listening to him and therefore they had to face wars, famines, and plagues of insects, causing the people to be tossed to and fro in horror in all the kingdoms of the earth.

So women, protect yourself and your kids from violence, knowing God does not want you to go through that--He wants you to have liberty.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of BONDAGE.

This not only means your past sins, and also it means, not allowing yourself to be in any kind type bondage. AMEN

When women are violent, the men should not put up with that either. Not only do women go through spousal abuse, so do men.

Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Personally, I won't put up with this type of abuse, nor fellowship this type of person,  who are arrogant, they usually are mean or abusive.

Remember this ladies when you go to pick a man for a husband.

Find a man who is truly humble. Jesus warned us to not be around prideful, arrogant people and those who cause discord in the body of Christ.

Those standing around pointing, gossiping, prideful--thinking they are better, Those things I want nothing to do with AMEN. You know why?

Because I want to please the Father in heaven and keep my mind on what is right before God.

I don't have time to entertain people's bad talk and attitudes. I won't give attention to them. Only pray for them!

The Bible says to be ye separate! We need to separate ourselves from things that are not of God. SIN! Violence and harm is sin!

There are two kinds of men in this world and the Bible touches on them in Genesus...

Men have a choice to be a rebel like Cain, or a humble man like Abel.

If a man is rebellious, he will act proud, arrogant, and will not be a good man, and may even be evil.

Cain and Abel gave offerings to the Lord.

Cain was a rebel with an attitude, and Abel was a humble servant.

They both gave an offering to God. Cain's offering was rejected by God, and Abel's offering was accepted.

The reason God rejected Cain's offering was because of his rebelious attitude and ways.

There was a Nigerian man who slapped his wife around and they got into an argument with her.

He walked away from her, when his wife tried so hard to work out the problem, and talk it out.

Then, he got into an accident and had a near death experience. He was sent to hell, and as he stood there, God said to him. "How can you enter heaven when you have not forgiven your wife and are not treating her well?"

He realized how badly he treated his wife and begged God to forgive him. God sent him back, and healed him.

God gave him a second chance to make things right with his wife. This man was transformed and his attitude changed from a rebel to a humble servant of God!

From that point on, he treated his wife with respect and honored her. He learned the value of love reigning in his heart and marriage.

So men are either, proud, arrogant and act like rebels, or they are humble, kind, and have a soft heart towards God like Jesus.

Things that God hates:

Proverbs 6:17
A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood

Matthew 25:40
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me

Did you ever notice that men who are proud and stand in pride and arrogance can't cry?

They call young boys 'sissies' if they cry? This is not the way God taught us to teach our kids.

It's very normal to cry. Many men do cry and they can humble themselves to God and cry too. True servants of God cried in the Bible, including Jesus.

When a man can humble himself to his wife, children, and family of God, then he can be used by God in a great capacity.

If he is proud and arrogant, God can't use him as much for he won't be teachable.

Think I am wrong? Let's look at what the word says.

Job 35:12-13 There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men. Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.

Psalm 10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

Leviticus 26:19a And I will break the pride of your power

God Blesses those who put away their pride and humble themselves.

2 Chronicles 32:26 Notwithstanding Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, both he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the LORD came not upon them in the days of Hezekiah.

Psalm 59:12 For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.

Psalm 73:6 Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment.

Proverbs 8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Proverbs 11:2 When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

Proverbs 14:3 In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them.

Proverbs 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall

Did you realize rebellion is like witchcraft?

1 Samuel 15:23 (KJV) "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft

Why do I pick on men more than women? ...Because God assigned men as a leader of the women, and they need to learn how to lead better in the Christian communities, and many are uneducated, or untrained on how they should treat a lady, and how to lead as a humble man of God.

So many are proud and arrogant and and how God sees them. Many men do not realize their total responsibility.

Jesus said in Luke 12:48b For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

I want to be around people who edify one another, shine for Jesus, rejoice in the Lord, and who become ONE in Christ in Spirit and truth. AMEN How about you?

I don't have time for rebel men for fellowship. There is nothing worst than a man trying to intimitating a woman of God! It's a wrong spirit in the Lord! AMEN

I never allow them to intimitate me, and I also do not have time for arrogant people, or those living in pride. I separate myself from them!

Jesus warned us about those who are "puffed up" with pride. To not even have fellowship with them.

I love working with humble men of God who who act like Jesus, and treat their families with respect, (always regarding them).

They see both women and men as ONE, like Jesus did. They shine with love and humility and can be a leader without being disrespectful and abusive to their wife.

They have wisdom and are fair. They are so compassionate and patient.

Now, that is what I like to see--A man in right standing with God. Same goes for women.

Anyone acting like a rebel is not living in God. AMEN

When pride has to raise it's big head always, there is a big problem. AMEN

Nobody is perfect and we need to discern everywhere we are and what we do. As the Bible says

Matthew 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

When the Church lives from the heart in the Love of God and has Jesus controlling their life, lead of the Holy Spirit.

God will always lead them in the way of the Cross and there won't be any deception.

There will be no need to be rebels. They will follow the directions of God very carefully in their life and be humble.

God touch men and women today and bless their marriages in Jesus. Take away all the messes, confusion, and abuse and betrayal, in marriage, purify them in your flame Lord, and add more help them to lean on You and be closer to each other, In Jesus name AMEN.

If you are going to be married--love should be the most strong character in relationship.

Love in the Spirit of Christ. Submitting one to another in the Love and kindness of God. Working together to keep the house a peaceful and kind home AMEN

If the couple's relationships (who are pastors) is polluted, then the congregation can get polluted too.

This is when God holds couples responsible. We must see what we are doing to ourselves, because this affects others. When you are both going in the same direction in God then you can set the example for the Church AMEN

There is a verse in the Bible that says:

Romans 14:19
Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

So building each other up, encouraging one another and standing by each other in all circumstance in prayer and supplication. This will keep your marriage strong. AMEN

A Christian women should not be taken advantage of her spouse. And also women are God's chosen too! They are part of the body of Christ so remember this. :)

I pray that God will help marriages today and heal these bad habits and behaviors.

May they be rebuked and corrected in a loving way in God.

May repentance flow for the depth of the heart of any spouse who is sinning in any way. That God will take control and will forgive, touch and restore marriages in Christ.

By getting back to the gospel of Christ, and dig into the word, will bring healing.  Marriages can be restored, have hope, because their is power in the word of God.

When we apply the word to our lives, nothing anyone can say or do can stop us from growing in the Spirit of God. Nothing can separates us from the love of God.

When we Allow God to help us mature in Him ,and help change our character, to better ourselves as we walk in God. Then we can reach the deeper level of living in the Lord and be more Christ conscience in how to solve problems and work together better. AMEN

Galatians 6:10
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

There is a solution to every problem!

When our attitude or actions to others in our family are not good. Repentance and changing our ways will make all the difference.
