Hebrews 12:12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees

God told Joshua this when facing his battles: Joshua 10:25 And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight.

I have been working missions online and in other countries since 1999. I have met thousands of people.
I have many young people all over the world that call me mom. Through these years I have tried to encourage pastors who were/are discouraged, young people ready to commit suicide, or lose their mind from stress. I have seen people starving for affection and love.  I have stayed and witnessed children in their homes  who only had one meal a day, and hearing the cries of their children as they were so hungry. My heart was touched and I shared my meals with them and their animals.

I am determined to edify the body of Christ as the Word says. To lift up and encourage all I deal with, for it's our responsibilty to be the mothers and fathers of this generation. To help them to NOT GIVE UP! To teach the word and feed the flock so they can be true overcomers! To be strong and lead by the Holy Spirit, not giving place to the devil, but to God!

Let's look very carefully what Jesus said in Matthew 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

Jesus was not just talking to carry on a conversation with the people, he made definate points to help people to have faith. He wanted them to GET IT! He wants us to GET IT  to! Without faith we can't please God so that means all doubting Christians who are doubting and giving up are not trusting in God's Word as they should. AMEN!

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Why would God offer salvation to people who are not going to take it seriously and expect them to be 'whimpy, whiners and complainers that doubt' and not strong in Him? Does a military call people to serve as a soldier to be weak? No, of course not! We are saved in Jesus blood to be  be strong, filled with love,  and to happy servantsof God! Representatives of Jesus! AMEN Let the weak say I AM STRONG!!!!

Joel 3:10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.

God wants us to be warriors for God, and more than conquorers for Jesus! Oh God help us to NEVER GIVE UP ON YOU!

Romans 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

God is our hope and our stay! He gives us a firm foundation. He gives us love and compassion for
others. He points us to the cross and never discourages us, but keeps us going forward so we will
never lose doubt and faint not!

James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Many people today forget about all the benefits God gives to believers. People get caught up in every day problems and get distracted from God's promises, which they could  stand in and overcome.  They give up too easy and start doubting! Why be defeated when we have God on our side?

God has made me a Deborah to many of the
young people today, and even to encourage pastors to believe. You would not believe how many pastors are
discouraged! The last 12 years I have encouraged so many people and four young people, I didn't realized
they were ready to commit suicide God saved them and helped them overcome! HALLELULJAH

I am not into money, and all these things many pastors are into. I am more concerned about how people think, live and their spirtual growth. Though I am good at budgeting money, and I am a balanced person and not a tycoon. Just an ordinary person who loves and is devoted to God. My focus each day is walking in the anointing and staying in the Word, because that is where the blessings flow! My focus is caring and having love for others. AMEN

Many people are always shopping for answers online expecting others to meet their own needs, when Jesus is waiting for them to turn to Him. He is right here with us ready to meet our need. And he waits for his children to call on him and they forget to go to Him. No wonder the Church is losing their way. Without God how can they get the direction they need to walk the way God wants them to?

It's God who wants to fill our minds with hope and peace. No doubting! Because we don't need to give up!

Many run after money and things to find happiness, and when greed sets in, it causes them to lack spiritually, and it kills the anointing of God in their lives!

The promises of God is our only hope and to live righteous lives! This is where we should always start. Not just say 'hallelujah' and go to Church--really live right by God AMEN.

How do we keep from Giving up? By living in God, prayer, talking to God, and walking in His Spirit. Stop overthinking and allow God to lead you. Let go of the reins of doubt. Take hold of solid faith in Jesus!  Focus on Him!

The keys I live by is Putting God first in my life, making sure I am living righteous and stay in the word and always ask God to move by his Spirit in my life, to keep me right in Him filled with love and compassion for others. Without compassion and love what good are we?

Life is a spirtual warfare and we must be armed with God's armor and walk in the Holy Spirit. We must be righteous in God's eyes. We must be examples for future generations and pass down the benefits of the word, the hope in God and the love that Jesus gave to us!

It's not about money, God will always meet that need if we are walking right with him--so money does not rule us. God's power does! God's Word will move any obstacle from in-front of us, and help pave a way
where their seems to be no way! AMEN So DON'T GIVE UP!

Matthew 17:20
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto

Matthew 15:28
Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

Matthew 9:29
Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

Hebrews 11th Chapter:

Faith moves mountains, when you act up in faith, God will show up! Proclaim the Glory of the Lord. Live walk and talk faith.

Faith stands the tests of time and can't be moved. Faith goes and possesses the land in Jesus love, stands in authority of God.

Faith looks to the things it can't see, and hopes in God for the results. Looks toward the rewards. Faith focuses on Jesus instead of the problems.

Faith in God saved many generations. Faith speaks prophetically, and declares the glory of God. Faith takes risks. Faith evaluates and makes tough choices.

Those who have faith know how to bless all around them because of their belief in the living God. With faith you will be the head and not the tail.

Faith will be tested and tried, while growing stronger in God. No suffering--no crown. Without faith it's impossible to please God.

Faith walks in the realm of God. Visualizes the vision of God, and embraces it until fulfillment. Faith activated can overcome any obstacle!

Faith listens to the voice of God, and dwells God's promises--The Word. Faith knows how to live on the strength of God.

Faith in God brings reverence to Him and His inheritance. Faith obeys and doesn't have to know where it's going. It's an obedience moving to the direction of God.

Faith demands that you are willing. Faith is pleasing to God. Faith pulls to the presence of God.

With faith you: Understand revelation from God, you use practical application of how faith works, Faith is sacraficial, plants sees with it's anointing!

When you have faith you don't draw back, you move forward! Greek word Pragmata (Faith) Means something that works!

Hearing God at night, and sometimes in our dreams - Listen to him and see what he has to say

By Apostle Cathryn Hughes

Do you wake up at night and have God reveal things to you in the middle of the night? It's really something those close to God who get woke up at night. I have been woke up many times throughout the years and God reveals many things to me.
I remember the night, I dreamed I was in front of the foot of my bed, and a dragon peaked up by my right side of my bed looking at me with his big eyes. He finally got up and came at me and opened his mouth to devour me. I could see his sharp teeth and he stood up to overtake me.

Right then, I said, "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus and he ran off and disappeared. I know that God showed me this dream in particular, to show me the authority and power we have in Jesus over the enemy! That he gives us His authority for our work on earth and this shows us  what power we have in our mouths for Jesus against the evil spirits around us. AMEN!

I have had many visions and dreams of the future in my sleep and I wrote them down each time God revealed them to me and they came to pass. You can read about them in my Miracles, Dreams and Vision links :)

In Job God speaks to him in a dream. Job hears His voice. in Job 4:12-16verses.

I heard a message today in my church time that was titled 'Divine Interruption' The Pastor told how God will stall things, or make us wait to protect us, or someone else.  And sometimes those divine interruptions are for a purpose and His timing in things to work correctly So when we pray and agree, sometimes the answers come quickly and other times they come later in God's time.
God brings the answers, sometimes yes, and sometimes no. And he will reveal them to us at night or in our dreams. I get my answers many times from God in my sleep.

And I love this scripture in Revelation 12:6-8 (King James Version)"And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. I believe the woman is referred to in this scripture as Israel."

I love this scripture and it's a good reminder to us all...
Proverbs 29:2
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
So this means we have to pray to take that authority to overcome the evil one, satan, the devil and his angels.

We have to be so careful with dreams. God has to be the one to reveal to us and tell us things.  We don't stand in dreams we stand in God. AMEN It's something God speaks when a dream is made known by Him.

Daniel 1:17As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

Daniel was spoken to in the night also..

Daniel 9:21
Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
Since you are also a prophetess, I want to share this with you:

As you read the rest of Chapter 9 keep this in mind:

The 9thchapter of Daniel is one of the greatest chapters in the Bible. Understanding this chapter is the key to understanding God’s plan of redemption and prophecy. Chapter nine ties together the other visions in the book of Daniel, and unlocks their meaning.

Deuteronomy 13:1-3
If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

God used to speak to people at night in the Old Testament all the time. Isn't that cool?  And even to bad people too...

Even Nebuchadnezzar had a dream and God spoke to him at night .
Daniel 2:1
And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him.

Numbers 12:6
And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.

Act 2:17And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams

Peculiar People For God

Apostle Cathryn Hughes

After the Israelites were brought out of the hands of the Egyptians, and the people were in Sinai, Moses went up to God. God called from the mountain saying to the house of Jacob and to the Israelites, "Now therefore, if you will obey My voice in truth and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own peculiar possession and treasure from among and above all peoples; for all the earth is Mine." (Exodus 19:5 Amplified)

We who serve God are God's Peculiar People. AMEN! He makes us unique, in all our unique ways in the Union of the Body of Christ.

What really touches my heart is: God didn't make us all the same. Or we would be like robots, programmed all the same. Yet, God made us all individually and free-moral agents, and allows us all to connect together to be ONE in His Wonderful Holy Spirit.

God sets us apart from the world, when we accept Jesus in our life. For when we accepted Jesus, we accepted the Father God.  He has a wonderful, supernatural, Divine way to make us peculiar.

Deut. 14:2  Amplified says, "For you are a holy people [set apart] to the Lord your God; and the Lord has chosen you to be a peculiar people to Himself, above all the nations on the earth."

So this means we are:

1. Holy

2. Set Apart

3. Chosen

4. To be peculiar people to God

5. Above all nations

God makes us the Priesthood to lead and help others to know God. To carry on--to win souls for Jesus.  Equiped with God's armor, gifts of blessings, to fulfill His mission.

In Duet. 26:17-19 (AMP) it says, "

17You have [openly] declared the Lord this day to be your God, [pledging] to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes and His commandments and His precepts, and to hearken to His voice.

18And the Lord has declared this day that you are His peculiar people as He promised you, and you are to keep all His commandments;

19And He will make you high above all nations which He has made, in praise and in fame and in honor, and that you shall be a holy people to the Lord your God, as He has spoken."

And in Psalm 135:4 (AMP) It states that we are decendants of Abraham's seed. See in the verse: "For the Lord has chosen [the descendants of] Jacob for Himself, Israel for His peculiar possession and treasure."

Our Salvation in Christ makes us peculiar people for Christ:  "Who gave Himself on our behalf that He might redeem us (purchase our freedom) from all iniquity and purify for Himself a people [to be peculiarly His own, people who are] eager and enthusiastic about [living a life that is good and filled with] beneficial deeds."  Titus 2:14 (AMP)

So Jesus:

1. Gave His life on our behalf

2. To redeem us from all iniquity

3.  Purchased our freedom

4. Purified to himself a peculiar people

5. Provided this to those who are eager & enthusiasic about living life that is good & filled with beneficial deed

Read Ezekial 37:23 (AMP), where it says: "They shall not defile themselves any more with their idols and their detestable things or with any of their transgressions, but I will save them out of all their dwelling places and from all their backslidings in which they have sinned, and I will cleanse them. So shall they b e My people, and I will be their God."

Did you realize we are:

1. A chosen race?

2. A Royal Priesthood?

3. A Dedicated Nation?

4. God's own purchased special people?

5. Set forth the wonderful deeds?

6. We display the virtues & perfections of Him?

7. We came out of darkness into his marvelous light!

I Peter 2:9 (KJV)"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light"

Unlinking The Chains, and Linking up To Christ

By Apostle Cathryn Hughes

Isaiah 52:2 Amplified  Shake yourself from the dust; arise, sit [erect in a dignified place], O Jerusalem; loose yourself from the bonds of your neck, O captive Daughter of Zion.

Chains can be binding when you do not link up to the right source.Throughout the generations people have been bound in chains of many kinds. Many of them have habits that they can't break. Many of these habits have been past down from generation to generation. Some of these are habits are good, and some are bad ones. Even Christians have bad habits, from some of the ways they were raised in their families. Not realizing it, they still pass these bad habits to their children. As Christians God wants to create
good habits in us. Christlike which Links us with Christ when we have given our life totally to Him. These habits are ones God gave to us. Through the Holy Ghost we learn new habits and new ways to live for God. And when we are Hooked to Jesus! He keeps us in His ways and it's solidlyconnected, every holding close to Him, His ways and thoughts. He reveals his secret freedoms to us. For the Word has promised in us. He helps us keep the trash out--that will pollute us within.

Christ already paid the price so, why do people live with bondage of the list below? Just something to think about..

Chains that pollute Christians and bind them from moving forward:

Examples of Jealousy: Not accepting other denominations as the body of Christ, Men not treating women as Christ treated the Bride. Ladies not treating men as Christ would have them. And the list goes on...

Lack of Self-discipline
Not knowing how to manage anger
Nagging your children.
Nagging your spouse.
Not praying as we should
Not staying in prayer
Not reading and studying the word
Fear of witchcraft
Fear of getting a disease
Fear of people not accepting you
Fear of what other think of you
Lack of faith
Judging people
being partial to people--favoring
being lukewarm
Love of Money
living like the world does
and the list goes on

What is it that binds you? Give it to God and pray that God will remove and change you. These binds must Go in Jesus name in order for you to be free in God!!!

Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

So, in order to be loosed from the generational curses and be free from bondage,we must be totally surrendered to God. Not just in word but give our whole self even our personality to Him!  We must be formed by Him!!
Remember--we pass down what we are to the next generation!

Let us be Unchained when doing so, and Link up to Christ!

We never have to compromise with the world.
We are of Christ, not of this world.

One thing I see in the Church today is, many want to be comfortable instead of making a commitment. It amazes me sometimes what little faith many Christians have, especially in hard times --

Times of testing. But we can all be strong and break
those weak chains and become strong in God! Let us always be the examples that God would have us be.
Not in ourselves, but in Christ who molds and shapes us.
We don't have to put on any act, just follow God and truly love Him genuinely. Not to impress people, but because He first loved us!

Daniel 4:3
How great are his signs, how mighty his wonders! His kingdom is an eternal kingdom; his dominion endures from generation to generation.

Joel 1:3
Tell it to your children, and let your children tell it to
their children, and their children to the next generation.

Luke 1:50
His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to generation.

Our Mind, Controlled By God!

Apostle Cathryn Hughes
(Written in 2005)

Ephesians 4:23
to be made new in the attitude of your minds;

Our mind-set takes a lot of work and discipline. And, how do we handle our emotions and our attitudes? What are we thinking? Is it positive, or negative thoughts in the Lord? How do we change negative to positive thinking? We can become strong in God's way of thinking--yes we can! Our mind can be controlled by God, if we allow Him to do that!

Ephesians 6:18
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
God wants us to keep our minds clear and clean. This is how we overcome all obstacles of this negative world. The things that try to penetrate our minds. And when the devil tries to influence our attitude and mind. We can replace our bad thoughts with Good, by feeding our mind with the authority of the Word!
Refuse to exercise our minds with negative thoughts or sin, and replace our thoughts with Godly thinking, good thoughts, and the Word.
Yea yea I know, people do not believe in being positive preachers. I hear them put down positive ministers all the time. To be honest, what is wrong with positive when the Bible teaches it?
Philippians 2:2
then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.
Now I say this is a very positive Scripture and if you think about it, the Bible is full of positive for our eternity. :)
The only way we can be really be over comers in our thinking, (as God wants us to be), is to watch what we think, and allow our thoughts to be mature in Christ Jesus. How we exercise our mind, tells us just who we are, and the choices that we want to think, and feel. Thinking is a choice just as love is. So we choose our thoughts and what we want exercise, as well as get rid of. Many times what we think, we say. What we say from our mouth shows what is in our heart.
Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
The Bible says that 'out of the mouth the heartspeaketh'. So what we are feeling, is what we are thinking. We need to pay attention at what we keep in our minds and see what impact we are truly speaking to the world.
How are we affecting those around us? How we think and act affects those around us. If we are just complaining and negative people, who wants to deal with us? If we have good character and our minds are thankful and our hearts are too before God, good things will come our of our mouth and we can praise God in good and bad times. AMEN Our Mind can be Controlled by God!
Titus 1:15
To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.
God gives us the choice to have self-control, or to lose control. He brings trials our way to see if we have learned to stand in Him, and use our self-control that comes from His strength. Are we leaning on Him totally?
When people do things to me, it's very hard because sometimes I want to get mad, and God reminds me that love has to reign in my heart and mind. Sometimes I know it's hard to forgive those who hurt us, and we have to forgive in order to be forgiven from God. We can't do it on our own. We are sheep and need our Savior Jesus Christ as our shepherd. AMEN
And with God holding our hands we can keep our minds at peace and make good decisions even in hard times. Our minds can stay in God and we can be controlled by God in Spirit. He will show us how to handle even things that come into our mind.
Hebrews 8:10
This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
To me, it's very important what I am thinking, and what I do with my thoughts. If my decision was to hate,  my mind would be preoccupied with hate, resentment, and  I would not be a happy camper. I refuse to live in hate.  And surely we have all been there in our minds. Honestly, I would rather rid myself of any such negative thoughts and keep my mind in Christ. That way I am guaranteed to get good results with those around me and live the way God would have me to live. I want my mind , Controlled by God!
James 1:8
he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.

The Bible states for us to Guard our life.
Deuteronomy 4:9 Amplified Bible
Only take heed, and guard your life diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes have seen and lest they depart from your [mind and] heart all the days of your life. Teach them to your children and your children's children--
My best and biggest strength comes from God, when I have to stand alone in Him!  He has proved this to me over and over again! And during these alone times, my mind can be really fixed and focused on God. God helps me to concentrate on Him, though I may not see the answers,in my heart I can stand in the Hope of Glory! His grace carries me through every trial and test. AMEN And, in my heart I can cling to God.  I want to pass His test, with flying colors!  I want God to be happy with my attitude, my thoughts and heart. I want my mind to be happy! Mind, Controlled by God!

Romans 8:5
Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.
How do we look at our challenges?
What do we do? How do we keep our
mind positive so that we affect our families
and our friends in a positive way?
Is our attitude a problem,Or a blessing to others?
We have to make those decisions!
Jesus went through trials and tests of his own. He always kept love and a good attitude, and forgave those who went against him.  He did get angry but sinned not. He did cry when people doubted him. And, He never allowed the root of bitterness to take hold. He just constantly leaned on Father God, for strength. He also had to discipline his mind to stay fixed on the Father's will! His mind was controlled by God! He died to self... He followed the leading of the Holy Spirit very closely. He was determined--with an attitude of doing God's will. Yes, he had very hard times to face. He also was not sure he wanted to do some of the things God asked of Him, yet, He did it, and obeyed God anyway. He put on God's attitude of love. He had peace reigning in His life even up to the time that he died. He was not only our Savior he had human feelings just like you and me.   Though he felt neglected and rejected he was faithful to the very end. He rose in victory! He did this for all of us, We can make it too, just like he did! With His courage and faith, in hard times, in good, we can have the mind of Christ-- Our Mind, Controlled by God!
It is good to have your mind challenged. Actually it's healthy for you.The best way to have your mind challenged, is when you are faced with problems. And when these problems happen to us, we start to see the options and choices on how we will face the problems, and how we are gong to deal them. Yes we can be overcomers for Jesus!
Think about it, when you go through something that would make you mad, you can choose to be mad, or choose to handle it another way. If a mad person comes to you and gets mad about things, you don't have to take on their anger too. You can just listen and be there for them and even pray for them. We have the choice of not allowing others emotions affect our own.
Romans 8:6
The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace;

If we are in-tuned to God, He will show us how to handle each trial we face, and the right way! People's problems and even our own, do not have to get us down.  But we have to accept the face that we are responsible of keeping Joy in our and depressed. AMEN! This is when we need God's Word. If we don't know His Word, and are not grounded in it, and we would be more defeated in ourselves. we would not be able to defeat the enemy and win! So as long as we keep our minds on Christ. He will see us through everything. AMEN! Our mind, Controlled by God!
Romans 12:2
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

We can fill our thoughts with the positive scriptures, which empowers our spirit and brings promises to pass! It builds our faith to stand in God's promises. It is a fact that if you listen to worship songs, it makes you stronger in your Spirit, and people are less sick when they keep worship in their hearts. HALLELUJAH!
When you have to stand alone, and know that in the normal--you could not make it--but with God you can! AMEN!  God is our rock and fortress and our very help in times of trouble.  And if we are not leaning on the rock of our salvation, we will truly fall. So we need the ROCK THAT IS HIGHER THAN I! We can turn those hard times, into times of growing in the hope, if we allow God to help us! Let God have your mind. When God sees us trying our best and disciplining our minds, and we keep trusting him, Favor will be granted in all we do!  So we can have a song in our hearts and minds always in God. Our Mind, Controlled by God!
1 Corinthians 14:15
So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my mind; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my mind.
God will not force us to do anything. We are free moral agents. He allows us to choose how we think. We need to choose wisely on that too! It strengthens our faith when we face trials with God on our side! And think of ways God can bless us even when we are faced with the impossible! Because with God, All things are possible! God actually allows us to face them to help us to grasp the faith that he wants us to be perfected in. And did you ever stop to think that when we get hung up with doubt and wondering if God would meet our need--That we open our minds up to defeat? We need to really BELIEVE in
the God we serve! I don't know about you, but I don't want to disappoint God by thinking wrong thoughts. I want him happy and proud of me that I trust totally in Him! Our Mind, Controlled by God!
1 Peter 1:13
[ Be Holy ] Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.

God wants us to be so strong like a rock--'nothing can move us.'He wants us to be that warrior, strong, steady, never wavering. He wants us to know in whom we believe and know without a doubt, God is there to perform miracles for us and through us. And it takes a faith-filled mind!
We are conquerors in all situations! HALLELUJAH!!!!!  I can't stress enough in this! For God will always be faithful to us. All we have to do is believe in Him. Be positive Christians for Him and he will bring us through it all! No, it won't always be easy, and if we humble ourselves to Him, He will lift us up! AMEN!
Matthew 22:37
Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'

Believe me, If anyone knows how important it is to hang on to positive ways of Christ in my mind, It's me! Many of you know what I have faced and what I have been through, and I am only using this as an example of how we are to totally trust in God in our every situation. I have had to stand alone many times in my life. It was very challenging at times. And many of the things I faced in missions made me wonder how I could make it. Yet, God gave me the every lasting joy and strength. I kept going for Jesus. I mean after getting hit with a car, and a motorcycle, had fake pastors around me and people wanting to be my friend to get something from me--when I was hungry and had no money. I lived in houses withdirt floor, rain pouring through the roof on me and soaked me when I was in a deep sleep, and still I kept praising God. I had to yield myself to God in all the circumstances. I must say that God never left me, and He anointed greater in those times--much more than I ever dreamed I could be. I spend many hours in prayer and didn't eat big meals at all. Only small. Pastors would accusing me of fasting all the time. :)  With women dying and some of my friends during childbirth complications, to pastors fighting each other and saying bad gossip, by siding against each other, and becoming enemies. I felt in the middle of battlefields at times. I wanted nothing to do with this type of behavior. I new at times that these people were not in right character that I was around. Yet, I loved and keep giving and kept praying and going forward. God blessed all the meetings I had. I refused to let confusion, or any problems ruin my life or spirit. AMEN Not even people could control me. For Jesus was already in control. :) I felt so alone and wondered where true men of God were. And as I prayed and trusted God. He lead me to them and I found the Godly people and dwelled with them.
Luke 21:14
But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves.
The Word was my strength and joy flowed from that. That was the only way I could keep my mind right. I kept my hands busy for God. I do massive amounts of work that some people would complain about. Not me. I LOVE IT ahahahahah God gave me the ability  to manage large projects and many of them at once. It's called organization in God. God,  honors me and bring peace to my heart. work it all out to our good. AMEN! And I see many miracles and blessings every day because I pour my heart out for others. I hardly live a life for myself. :) I wouldn't change my calling for anything in this world. AMEN I love serving God! And MY GOD NEVER FAILS ME. AMEN! My Mind, Controlled By God!
You have to have determination in your heart to keep your mind fixed on God. It takes loving God, being devoted to him, a true relationship with Him, time alone to pray to Him,rejoicing when we don't feel like it, confessing that God will be there for us. Thanking Him for answers. Keep trusting God-- in all things. That is how we I make it through my trials!  How about you? Mind, Controlled by God!
Luke 24:38
He said to them, "Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds?
Our attitude is the key to locking, or unlocking the chains that would bind, or free us. I want to share some  comparisons that Joyce Meyer uses, to show our choices we have, when faced with harmful, as well as positive attitudes and mind-sets.
Look how many positive ways God gave us to handle
our lives and take control  of our thinking in 'His name!'
Let's look at them:
Leaning on His Everlasting Arms
By Apostle Cathryn Hughes
Genesis 24:49"Now if you will show kindness and faithfulness to my master, tell me; and if not, tell me, so I may know which way to turn.
Facing trials, when I was first saved, woke me up to the reality of how important it is to have total faith in God.
When we come up against trials, the waves of life hitting us in the face, and we don't know what to do. And all we can do is to stand strong in the faith--relying totally on God, believe in Jesus and expect miracles from the Master!
No matter what we face, He will never let us down, and we will not fall if we keep our eyes focused on Jesus.  Just like Peter on the water. We can choose to focus on our problems or looking to Jesus and not doubt. Jesus will be with us all the way and we never have to worry even in the midst of any problem we face. If we are grounded in Jesus we will have the strength to face anything in the strong faith that Jesus gave to us.
I have faced times of having everything missing in my life, my family, my possessions, everything, even to the point of homelessness, and when I kept my faith in God, he provided all my needs. He pointed me in the direction of promise, and fulfilled it before me. His miracles were known then, and I see miracles in my life and still today, because I believe in Jesus who saved me and who has transformed my life!
It's through faith that we can touch a life, so that faith can become known through our mouth to their ears. Love that flows from our life from Jesus will reflect so they will want it too. And when they see our faith in God, and love, then they will want it too.  And when we believe in God, and have real faith, God releases that Powerful "Word of God" that transforms us and it holds the key to the Power Of God through our faith.  The eternal and Supernatural power of God. The Holy Ghost will be real in our lives and guide us so we will know all things that he reveals to us. AMEN  God never steers his people the wrong way and gives them insight to what they need to see ahead of them.
THE ANOINTING!  Samuel 2:35 I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who will do according to what is in my heart and mind. I will firmly establish his house, and he will minister before my anointed one alway
I remember when Jesus was talking of miracles not happening in towns he passed by, because they lacked faith.
This scripture  enlightened my vision of how, as Christians, we need to have our eyes opened to how should never allow our faith to go dim.
We can't afford to do that, or we will miss the blessing of God. And he did not do many miracles where people lacked faith... It was those who followed Jesus who saw the miracles. Those who believed. AMEN
We may come up against walls, detours, and uncertainty, yet we have Jesus on our side, (and even when everything seems to be oppositioned against you) God is there to polish us, refine us, try us by fire,  so we can be real pillars of the Kingdom of God. Stronger in our faith. Stable in God with a firm foundation that will not being moved. Totally fixed on God, refusing to except defeat, or doubt!
God breaks through with such divine power and brings miracles around His people when they activate their faith.
I have seen this over and over again. Living on total faith...
One time when my son was young, I went through a test and God helped me to pass it with flying colors. I had no food to offer my son. We started to run out of all of our food. We only had crackers and butter to eat. I was a firm believer of Christ and didn't let hunger sway my faith in God.
I would fall on my face before God in my living room and fill my ears with beautiful Godly music.
I cried out to God and He heard my prayers. I was a faithful servant of God and the Lord knew I was passing the test, that no matter what cirumstances I was in, even hungry, I could keep believing in God and behold the miracles He had available to me.
Yes, we do get tested even in America!
I would continue to worship my master Jesus, and you know what happened during that time? During the very lowest of lows?
God's amazing love came through...
I went out to get my mail outside the front door of my house. I found an envelop in my mail box, and on the outside it was typed, LOVE JESUS. I opened it and was amazed to find 50 dollars inside. When I turned around to go back into my house, I found a brown paper bag with groceries stuffed full to overflowing in it at my door.
It amazed me! I never told anyone my situation to anyone, and I never asked anyone for help, and Jesus heard me. He knows our needs!
I am living proof that God loves us in hard times and meets our needs! I was living on total faith in God! And this is why I believe the way I do. For God never fails me. AMEN
Acts 14:22 strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith; We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God they said So keep up your courage, men, for I have faith in God that it will happen just as he told me.
What happens when you dare to believe God? Miracles fall around you. When we surround ourselves with His praises, and love Him so much that no matter what falls to one side, or the other, even if we are battered and beaten, when our faith stands strong, God will stand true and faithful to us!
We become God's "Uncompromisingly Righteous".
There are tons of promises for us to hang on to and to believe in--let's keep believing Jesus and not let the world affect us.
Psalm 5:12 You, Lord, will bless the [uncompromisingly] righteous [him who is upright and in right standing with You]; as with a shield You will surround him with goodwill (pleasure and favor).
What a wonderful amazing loving God we serve! Nothing can compare to the love that God pours out to us. And it's right here in our reach at all times!
Sometimes we forget to grab it, and apply God's promises in our life, and we forget to stand in the faith and hope that has available to us.
What are we waiting for? Let's activate the faith God wants us to use, so our faith will not go dim, and bring it alive, keeping it on-fire for the Lord!
Jesus is waiting for that. Jesus is saying "Believe on me." If you only believe the size of that tiny mustard seed, Just a dot, God will spring forth miracles before your eyes. And it was a promise to the believer that we would do greater things than Jesus.

John 17:17-17Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

18As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

19And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

 20Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

21That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

22And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

23I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

This is why God allows us to be tried and tested. He wants us to know how to handle every situation, so that can stand strong in our armor and not waver, bicker or complain. Just to stand firm and expect a miracle from God. When we get to that point, we will be able to see God move mountains for us.

We won't have to stress about our needs, for we will have such faith in our God that stress or trails will not move our faith.
We will depend and rely on Father God and be confident in Him. We won't be doubtful and we won' t complain.
For God is every faithful in His promises of His Word. It's us who is not always faithful in believing. And the Holy Spirit will speak to our hearts on what to do.
And all it takes is to live on total faith in God!
John 14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

By Apostle Cathryn Hughes
Let's looks at the Scriptures in: John 15: 1-8
1. I am the vine and my Father is the husbandman.
2. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he
is taken away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it that it may bring forth more fruit.
3. Now year are clean through the Word which I have spoken unto you.
4. Abide in me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine: no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5. I am the vine, ye are the branches: he that abide in me, and I in him. The same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch-is withered: a man gather them and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will and It shall be done unto you.
8. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit, so shall ye be my disciples.
12 lessons:  (Comments on above scriptures)

1. God is the husbandman Verse 1
2. Christ is the vine. Verse 1
3. Believers are the branches in Christ. Verses 2 & 5
4. Every fruitless branch "in me" is cut off, withered, gathered with other dead branches & cast into the fire and burned. verses 2 & 6
5. Every fruitful branch "in me" is purged that it might be more fruitful. verses 2 & 5
6. Every branch "in me" is clean and pure in heart by the word, if walking in the light verse 3.
7. Branches "must" abide in Christ and Christ in them to produce fruit.  verses 4-5
8. The branches are helpless to produce fruit itself verses 4-5
9. Christ is helpless to produce fruit through the branch unless it remains in him.
10. Branches must abide in Christ or be cut off and burned. verse 6
11. Branches must not only remain in Christ but must have "His Words" abiding in them or prayer will not be answered. Verse 7
12. God can only be glorified by the branches when they remain in Christ and produce much fruit. Verse 8
I Peter 1:23 says, "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth forever."
Romans 11:16-24 "For if the firstfruits be holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches, and if some branches (gentiles) be broken off, and though being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them and with them partakers of the root and fatness of the olive tree. Boast not against the branches, but thou boast, thou bearth not the root, but the root thee.  Thou wilt say then, the branches were broken off, that they might be grafted in. Well, because of the unbelief they were broken off, and thou standeth by faith, be not high-minded, but fear; for if God spared not he natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee goodness, if thou continue in his goodness; otherwise thou also shall be cut off. And they also, shall abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. For thou were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: How much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree.
History: Verse 16.  The firstfruits represents the first Jews who were blessed by the Gospel and the Lump to the whole nation that will be blessed and become holy to the end.
The words Root and Fatness of the olive tree refers to Christ and God's blessings of Abraham and New Covenant.  The Branches are the Israelites, like true
Christians, are the branches of the vine.
Israel in this scripture, is pictured as a
figure of branches of an olive tree and the gentiles are as the wild olive tree, or the branches which bear no fruit, some are broken off.
Because of the unbelief; and the gentiles of the
wild olive tree take their place to partake of Israel's blessing.
These gentiles were warned not to boast of being accepted of God in place of the Jews, but to fear lest they also fall and not be spared.
This is always the condition of eternal life. If God promises here to cut off those who do not remain in his goodness, then he is obligated to do so.
This is always the condition of renewal in God and His faith & grace.
A fruitless branch grafted to a good tree is contrary to custom to grafted unfruitful tree, how much more will it be natural to graft good branches into their own fruitful tree?
Another words, we are adopted..It's the act of God whereby, a repentant sinner is made a member of the family of God, as if he had been born in the family; the placement as a son and all the rights and privileges of a son.
Evidence of son-ship includes:
*Becoming a new creature
*Being free from sin, condemnation & fear.
*Being Spirit-Led, anointed & blessed.
*Adoption was planned before the discipleship of the world and was accomplished on the cross.
It's experienced personally at the New Birth of being born again.

Planting Spiritual Seeds in A Spiritual Foundation

By Apostle Cathryn Hughes
Jesus said Matthew 7:20
Therefore, you will fully know them by their fruits.
Psalm 1:3
And he shall be like a tree firmly planted (and tended)by the streams of water, ready to bring forth fruitin it's season; it's leaf also shall not fade or whither, and come to maturity.
Is your congregation showing good fruit? Are you feeding them good spiritual seeds and setting a good foundation forthem in Jesus?
Any plant you grow, whether it be flowers, greenery or fruits and vegetables, you can learn how to harvest a good crop.
My Flowers
Many people comment on how wonderful and big my flowers are that I grow in flower gardens. I take very good care of them. I make sure my soil is a good foundation for the seed to grow in. And with some water and their exposure to the SUN, they can get the nourishment needed to grow. I am consistent in making sure they are well cared for. It takes constant caring for them to become big and beautiful flowers. If I did not water them, or care for them, they would not grow right and could dry out and die. They would wilt and not be healthy. I also have grown many vegetable and fruits in gardens also.
Luke 3:8
Bear fruits that are deserving and consistent with [your] repentance [that is, conduct worthy of a heart changed, a heart abhorring sin]. And do not begin to say to yourselves, We have Abraham as our father; for I tell you that God is able from these stones to raise up
descendants for Abraham.
So it is with being a minister. We need to feed the sheep and give them a good foundation. Make sure they are watered with the Word and grounded in good soil.
We plant the seeds of the Gospel, and not only do we see a harvest of souls, We need to keep them exposed to the SON (JESUS). We also are responsible for their care. We need to ground new souls for Jesus in the Word.
Isaiah 60:21
Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
Teach the people how to keep growing and learning from God. To rid themselves of past sins (Example: Like juju films) and anything associated with things of their past life, that would influence them back to the world. All sins need to be gotten rid of, and to make sure the Christians know and Churches are learning how all weeds need to be pulled. Make sure they are growing more and more,  getting closer to God. And if you are preaching and being a true example to the sheep, they will listen to the word and follow the example too.
Matthew 28:20
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Without the help of the shepherd, the sheep get scattered. We need to nourish and help our congregations. Make sure they understand what living right by God is, be examples and care about their Christian growth. Teach them how to be planters of spiritual seed, so they will also know how to win souls and feed the sheep. If the congregations do not grow right they can dry out, and wilt. They need to be watered so that they can grasp how to grow in God. If they are growing right, they will blossom for Jesus and their light will keep shining and they will  keep growing in the Word. They will not just warm their pew in Church but they will reach out and touch other lives in the villages and outside their Churches, winning souls for Jesus! They will have a firm foundation that will never be moved. This is what Jesus meant when he said FEED MY SHEEP.
1 Corinthians 2:13
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
2 Corinthians 13:5
Examine and test and evaluate your own selves to see whether you are holding to your faith and showing the proper fruits of it. Test and prove yourselves [not Christ]. Do you not yourselves realize and know [thoroughly by an ever-increasing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you--unless you are [counterfeits] disapproved on trial and rejected?
When I was in Ghana, I stayed with a GA (Tribe) family. They were confessed Christians, and in the evening time we would all sit around the TV and they would turn on their favorite show, JUJU (black magic) Films. Films of Witchcraft. I would sit in amazement thinking,"These people talk of JUJU being evil and call themselves Christian, yet they sit and watch these same films of what they were delivered from" I would wonder why they can't make a clean break from past.
I always excused myself politely and went to my room to read the Word or went out for a walk, because I didn't want to participate in watching something like that.
Ephesians 4:22
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts
Colossians 3:9
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
God is connecting me to many young people on the net and it's awesome. Some as young as 15. I am talking to them about Jesus and how they can be used to win their people for God. Many are African teens who are going to cyber cafes. I try to counsel them about how to be careful on the net from scams. To turn scams into the managers of the cyber cafes, or people that they see-- writing scam letters. I don't want them to be influenced by bad people. I want to warn them ahead of time. This will help them be aware!
I talk to them about juju and not to feed their minds with the JUJU movies that people watch. How important it is to spend time with their families, like playing soccer outside, going to a park, and having fun. Do things pleasing to the Lord.
I believe that Satan uses juju films to keep juju in the minds of the people who are saved. To defeat them yet again.... This is why it needs to be rid of...
This is his hold he has on them. How can the bound be free, if they won't let it go?

When we get saved, and delivered we can't go back and fill our minds up again with former sins. And many of the people who give their life to Christ in Africa still watch juju yet they claim to be totally delivered from it. To me, I am not convinced, because, we have to rid it in every way, even in films we watch. If people stop watching Juju films they will do better and get past the witchcraft way of living and thinking. Most of the people I was around, would talk about JUJU more than God.. Same thing as when a person is hooked on sexual sins and then after they are saved they watch them. That is is the same thing.
We have to be careful what we are planting...Remembering to weed out what is not good.
Deuteronomy 22:9
Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, be defiled.
To think God is waiting for people to get focused on God instead other things that get our minds off of God. Yet, many do not focus on God much. They always end doing the same things again and again, and wonder why they don't grow in God. They keeping going through the same circle again and not really breaking away from it.
I love the young people so much, because they will be the next generation to take Jesus forward AMEN! Pray with me as I minister to them. We have to ground them and teach them well, so that God can use them in a mighty way. Our next generation will be what we have fed them
and taught them. AMEN
Planting Spiritual Seeds in a Spiritual Foundation...
So, let us continue to planting Spiritual Seeds and raise the Church in a Spiritual Foundation. I am not speaking of seeds of money, when I speak of seeds. I am speaking of Spiritual seeds.
I honestly feel that so many ministers have messed up people's thinking, when they say to plant a seed of faith--By sending money. They turn the mustard seed of faith into money when it was FAITH Jesus spoke this scripture.  I don't think we should do that to the Word or to God. Jesus was speaking of Means simple faith in Him.  It brings too much attention to money and material things rather than spiritual growth. It has warped the Gospel!
There is nothing wrong with giving and helping people. It's what we are supposed to do. But to beg and pressure people to give is not how Jesus taught. Jesus said to give what you have not what you don't have...
With me, my focus is Gospel, and while in other countries, I assess the situation, and also give resources to help people or connect them to the people who can help them. And when I go to the countries I like to go there first to see exactly what is needed, what the problems are, and what the situations are like first. Then pray about it. I go is to share Jesus and the Gospel. To share the visions God give to me. I don't make big promises, but I go in the Name of Jesus.

Let's plant spiritual seeds in a spiritual foundation and set a better example with the focus on Jesus!
Many villagers are so bound spiritually from paganism's. I am speaking of all countries here. And they do need assistance. You have to be careful not to just to go there, and put the focus only on needs and things. First, they need to first see their spiritual need for Christ. I am not saying that physical need are not important-- we must use wisdom in all things. Many people through my travels try to take advantage, and you have to be careful about that when you go to their country. You have to use wisdom and test the spirits of the people. Do what you are able and don't promise big money.
Win their souls first, and be practical and help in simple practical ways, like help people learn how to manage money, teach them how to type, give them ideas to start their own business, and teach them basic steps to help them be self-sufficient.
Go there to preach the Gospel,  then people will respect that and know what you are all about. Go visit a village, work with missionaries who work with the village people.. When you go there the second time, they will not just be expecting you to solve their problems physically--they will greet you with open arms, because you were the spiritual example to them, and brought them truth in Jesus, and love them in the Lord. If you want to buy some rice or help drill a well in a village, that will be fine. But please, keep the focus on Jesus. Plant Spiritual seeds in a Spiritual Foundation.
This is why it's so important to have an NGO and a Ministry. you can keep them separate, to meet both needs. Ministry should be used to get the Gospel to the lost, and spiritually dying world. NGOs can meet the humanitarian physical needs of the  communities. And we need them both!
Missionaries have reached a lot of people for God, and they also have not stayed long enough to help the people grow.  So we need to take the time to plant good seed.
A true missionary will go to a country and try to go to the villages will learn everything about what is happening, will  minister to the people and try to reach them for God. Remember, that if you only go for short trips, and you win souls for Jesus they need to be fed and keep growing in God.
Have a plan of how to teach them, and keep them fed after you leave, or they could slip back to their old ways again if you don't. You need to establish a church or pastor, who will take the responsibility to continue teaching them, and feed them spiritually after you leave. There is a lot to being a missionary. This is why when I go, I make sure I stay awhile, to teach and help people to grow.

Planting Spiritual Seeds in a Spiritual Foundation.

God is already rich and we are rich in Him. God will supply ever need. AMEN Jesus is our risen Savior who is the miracle worker! AMEN  Through seeking God first, all other things are added to us. That is a promise! So let's always focus on God first.
Many countries who are able to get TV watch these many American pastors on who talk about planting money seeds. Instead of pastor preaching the simple Gospel, not asking for anything, (seems money is the whole focus point of many ministries on TV).
I love it when you see pastors who just preach Jesus and His Love, and that is all. Yes, our society has really changed since Jesus was here.
Can you imagine this? People in other countries who watch American broadcasts, only see what is on TV. They probably think, hey that is a good way to make money.... Then, they want to become a pastor so they can get lots of donations. And this is exactly why many men become ministers today and are polluted in this type of thinking. This is not the way God calls us to be, and this is not how he intended it to be handled, otherwise He would have not thrown out the traders in the house of God.......Let's plant seeds of Righteousness! Then God will bring the miracles when we are faithful in this.
Many are not even called to be a minister spiritually. Do you see how this has escalated in our world of Christianity?
Isaiah 52:3
For thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.
Yes, this world is getting harder, and the focus should stay fixed on Jesus. He is the one who is the miracle worker. We lean on Him not people. He is the key to unlock any door for us. We need to focus on God for our needs. AMEN
1 Corninthians 3:11-18
11For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
14If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
16Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
18Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

We need to get back to the Gospel and plant spiritual seeds and spiritual foundations. IT'S JESUS!

Dedicated To The Gospel--At Any Cost--With Joy!

By Rev. Cathryn Hughes

Peter 1:8 KJV  Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory

Are you a happy servant of God? Do you take authority over the enemy, are happy in the Joy of the Lord despite your circumstance? Are you full of love and compassion for the world and your church family?

God gives us all the benefits we need when we stay steadfast in Him. And he does not favor us over anyone, as we should not favor over anyone either. This means he does not look at popularity or clicks or leaving people out. We are to love the whole body of Christ. AMEN

So this means when you see a brother or sister having a problem you should not gossip about them--instead pray for them and have the compassion of Christ to do so.

Romans 2:11 Amplified
For God shows no partiality [undue favor or unfairness; with Him one man is not different from another].

Though he does not favor anyone, He does give favor to us when we believe in Him, and are are faithful in our dedication to the Gospel, and to Him. Through prayers we can bring God's favor on each other. AMEN

2 Corinthians 1:11 Amplified
While you also cooperate by your prayers for us [helping and laboring together with us]. Thus [the lips of] many persons [turned toward God will eventually] give thanks on our behalf for the grace (the blessing of deliverance)
granted us at the request of the many who have prayed.

Favor that God gives us is to answer us and grant us His will and blessing. AMEN

Keeping the Joy in the Lord as we are dedicated to the Gospel: we don't have to go by the wayside at all. We don't have to allow depression and being down a part of our life. We can keep our joy in God. We can make it-- right where we are. God opens doors and gives favor to the faithful. AMEN

Our Faith in God makes us whole and His truth sets us free. So, we are free to walk in the Holy Spirit and have the joy of the Lord AMEN.

Mark 10:52
And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

Mark 4:20
And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

Mark 8:35
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

When we GO-- to preach the Gospel, it brings us opposition. Can you handle opposition?  When God sends us, we do face persecution. When we go to missions, or go to preach the gospel in places, some will reject us and some will receive us. It's a fact. It's that 'brushing the dust off of your feet' that keeps you going forward when we are rejected. AMEN

Matthew 10:14
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

And to go to a new place, to preach the Gospel is not going be for convenience, or for our own comfort. Sometimes you have to dig a hole to use the toilet,
live where the floors of the houses are made with dirt, bathed in sewer water, of and thank God for purified water drops. AMEN  I have been through all of this in missions. And my focus was on sharing the Gospel not my comfort.

So you see, sometimes we have to live in these situations, and learn how to deal with them in a positive way to get the word out to the lost. AMEN.

For you give up your comfortable life, literally die to yourselves, not afraid to face any circumstances. We have to die to our own desires and go forth and reach the lost for Jesus, Take authority over the enemy too.

I like the way it's said in Proverbs 23:7a For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he

God wants us to stay focused on Him and be positive Christians. If we love God we will think about God and what His will is for us. If our mind is on joy in the Lord. We will have joy, if it's on depression or being sad, we will be sad. Read it again in Proverbs above. This is a choice God gives us. We choose our own attitudes. AMEN

I gave up ownership of a nice 3 bedroom house to be a missionary. I gave up my life of comfort to live for Jesus. AMEN And still I have nothing but my suitcase! I  am so happy to be rich in Jesus. For he gives me all I need. There is nothing better than the anointing of the Holy Spirit. AMEN

It is normal to face hard times as a Christian. As I speak to many people who are struggling, I have compassion on them, and also want others to know that we must face these hard times to grow in God.

Some Pastors and Christians think  hard times are abnormal or something. Jesus and the disciples faced the same. So shall we. AMEN  And through faith in God, the promises of the Word, and by the leading of the Holy Spirit, we will make it through each situation victorious! AMEN  By keeping our hands busy for God, the Lord will take care of us. AMEN  We have to live a selfless life. Not to be selfish in our greed but to lay down our life for God and others as we share the Gospel of Christ. This is how you become strong in Christ--dying to self.

By focusing to get the Word out to the nations-- is the most important part of what God wants us to focus on. We don't focus on our suffering, we focus on God and His promises. We begin saying, YES to God.

God is the one who brings tests and challenges to us, brings droughts and famine on the land. And sin brings those things too. God allows all of it, and how will we handle is what matters! If our faith is strong, God will work miracles to bring us through each one and to accomplish His will.

In the places where there is drought in various place on the planet, I believe that if the people repented, and gave their hearts to Christ, the Lord would replenish that land. For God places curses on sinful lands, so they will turn to him. He has done this over and over in the history of the Bible.

We sow the seeds of God's love into the heart of lost on this earth, we feed the sheep and try to help the poor, and God is the one who makes the seeds grow, the Church grow, and touches the hearts of those around us. The Holy Spirit draws all men unto Jesus. AMEN

It is nothing we do but the glory goes to ABBA FATHER.

We don't focus on the current events of this land--letting it defeat our joy. For we lay our life down to serve the Lord. We just keep planting. We are not moved. AMEN for the enemy does not control us. He may try to camp in our campsite. We can defeat him and tell him to flee. AMEN It's God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit who camps with us. AMEN

Jesus is coming soon. We should know from the Word that times will be harder in these last days. Despite that, we can stay focused on God instead of the hard things. For when things start falling around us, we will be able to stand firm in the Joy of the Lord.

Nothing shall separate us from the love of God. So therefore we can be happy in Jesus!

Look at Stephen. I was amazed at this man when I read his story years ago, and stood at awe of God's power to keep him faithful even to the end of his life, as he died for Christ. He never complained and got mad, nor lose his faith or wavered at that moment because of those who stoned him. He stood firm in the Holy Spirit and taught the Word just like God wanted him too. He gave his very life for Jesus and was faithful clear to the end and God opened up heaven for him to see and he went home...AMEN

Acts 6 KJV
1And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.

2Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.

3Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

4But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

5And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:

6Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.

7And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

8And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

9Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.

10And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.

11Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against God.

12And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council,

13And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law:

14For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us.

15And all that sat in the council, looking stedfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel.

In Acts 7 he goes on to answer questions according to the Word and what God told him to say in the Holy Spirit.
He shared the truth of the old testiment and they kept asking stephen challenging questions and did not believe.
They became angry at Stephen for sharing truth. He said in verses

53Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.

54When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.

55But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

56And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

57Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,

58And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.

59And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

60And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Through his example, he showed no fear and was fully dedicated to the Gospel and stood faithful in the Power of the Holy Spirit. AMEN So can we AMEN!

Our reward is in Heaven. Being dedicated to the Gospel is our aim, and our Goal in the Love of Jesus, to share the Gospel with the Lost and truth to all people whatever the cost...With Joy AMEN

When facing the Enemy
By Apostle Cathryn Hughes

Throughout my life I faced many challenges. Trials and testings. Some were so hard and some were not so hard. I went through many surgeries and changes in life, have been falsely accused, misunderstood and spiritually attacked in every way as all of
us are.

In my 30 plus years of serving God, I learned how to overcome every obstacle, face the enemy head on and how to take authority and claim victory in Jesus. AMEN

I wasn't perfect, nor am I. I had to die to myself, yes, I made mistakes, and God helped me to correct them. We all learn from them. I learned to repent let go o the past, and move on.

We can have times where it makes us feel down and we don't have
to stay down. Why allow the devil to defeat our life by staying down? I learned how to get back up again.

Is you allow the enemy to accuse you of your past, you will never go forward.
You have to forgive yourself of the past and not allow anyone to hold your past against you. For Jesus covered all your sin and mistakes. You do not have to be defeated.

When facing the enemy you can stand bold in God with great anointing and power, never fearing at all. For our strength comes from God. God is bigger than any force, any spirit and any person. So fear should not have to reign in our hearts. AMEN

We do not have to have a condemning spirit of others, we do not have to allow anyone to condemn us.

John 3:17 says, 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

John 5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

James 5:12
But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

We are not ordained losers but overcomers for Christ. Jesus knows we can overcome and gave us the ability to.

Read in Revelation where he is talking to the 7 Churches and telling each one what he sees in them. Their good and bad points and after each statement he says HE THAT OVERCOMETH and then he tells what they will inherit.

Folks, we are overcomers and when we face the enemy we must remember who we represent.
We must know the Word of God, be lead in the Holy Ghost and allow Him to lead us, show us all things in the Lord. The Holy Spirit is our teacher, comforter and will reveal all things to us in God that is around us. He will show you when evil is around, he will warn you and those who will listen and obey Him will overcome. AMEN

Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

So know that the enemy has no power over you and is only as big as you allow him to be. Be an overcomer and stand in his face and take authority over him in the Word. Do not fear him but know that God is the one you only need to fear. Stand bold before the face of the enemy and know that you are an overcomer and a warrior for Christ.

James 4:7
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

There is therefore no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus.

Luke 9:1
Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.

The Holy Ghost always shows believers when to wach out, open our eyes, not only to what people are doing, and also to reveal what is happening ahead of time, to keep us from danger or traps.   He shows us things that will happen in the future. And when we stand firm in God and pray He will show us what to do in any situation. AMEN

I Timothy 2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

God has a wonderful way of keeping us keen on how to handle every situation. He puts it in our hearts. And if we are listening to God's still small voice, and listen to what he speaks to our hearts, then we will know how to deal with when the enemy attacks.

It's not the attack that we are to focus on, it's not people trying to tell us what to do or people's theories. It is the spiritual battle that we are to stand against in the Word of God. When we have knowledge of the Word and know it, then we will have a firm stand against any type of evil powers.

The Bible says, Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

So, when firey trials come we don't focus on the trial, yet only on standing firm in God and not listening to the enemy who tries to feed our souls with doubt, lies about ourselves and others, who tries to defeat your mind with defeatful thinking.

Just like the Word says, 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour

So this means we are to always have our armour on, be aware of what is around us at all time, to stand on guard and be strong against the adversary. AMEN

So this means when we are equip with the Sword, the Word, and have the whole armour on, standing in our faith in God, and are aware and have the authority of God, the enemy will not overcome us. AMEN we can stand up in the devils faith in God's authority, and rebuke him and resist him and he will flee. That is all we have to do.

Many Christians to not realize today that they give into their doubts and fears so much to the point the just stand there and let JUJU and fear and doubt tear them up and they believe anything the enemy throws at them and they become defeated in their minds and lives. I encourage you today. You can be a warrior for Christ and face the enemy in the power of God. You can be an overcomer in Him and put the enemy in his place. We were all given that authority, we just have to exercise in in our daily walk.

The best way to be an overcomer is to be diligent in the Lord and obedient and don't forget to eat of the Word every single day and pray and stay close to God. For without a relationship with God, how can you be ready?

Our respect and focus is on God alone, through Jesus Christ and the leading of the precious Holy Spirit. And the devil has to get OUT OF THE WAY. AMEN  We don't have to fear evil at all when God gave us the power to overcome him.  Through the Blood of Jesus we are covered and protected and by His grace we can overcome AMEN

Think of it this way... Authority leads without fear. Authority in God is never defeated, never runs on doubt and is driven by the fire of God in faith.

We don't stomp on sinners, we love them to God. We stomp on the devils face.  Without compassion for the sinner, we can begin to hate and condemn them. Jesus sat with sinners at meat. Because he wanted to reach them with the love of God.

So we must face the enemy by keeping strong in the Love of God. Radiating out of our lives to win the sinners. This means we must love the sinners: prostitutes, those who do not live good moral lives, those who sin many sins. We hate the sin but love the sinner to Jesus. AMEN

I challenge you today, to start believing God, take authority in your current situation in God and claim spiritual blessing and trust God as you wait for the answers and be armed and ready to take the authority against any lies of Satan. Truly believe the Lord and He will bring you through.

The Number Seven

By Apostle Cathryn Hughes

In Hebrew, seven (Sheb'-bah) is from the root word meaning to be complete or full. This can be clearly seen from the first time a varient of this word is used in the Bible.

Some examples of 7s in the Bible:

7 stars of Angel messengers for each Church, 7 lamp stands, 7 Churches.

Lampstands - If you think of how Jesus shared about him being the Light of the world, and talked about the candle--shining into the world and you think of why He used lampstands for each Church.

Candlesticks - a lampstand to hold up hand lamps so that the Church is a candlestick to hold up the other lamp. We are given this symbol for a reason.

In Isreal, they used the lampstand central stem and 3 on each side, and one in the middle totaling 7 candled, and the lampstand stood 5 feet tall. It was lit every evening and dressed in the morning. Each lamp was supplied with cotton and about two wine glasses of purest olive oil--to be burnt during the long night.

This is so much like the Church today...As the Church, we are shining forth as the body of Christ, with an anointed with oil and the number 7, the sacred number which is the representative symbolic number. It is a special dignity of the Seventh, 7th month, Feast of the trumpets, Feast of the Tabernacle, Great day of atonement, 7 weeks of the intervals between the Passover and the Pentecost. The 7th year of the Sabbacal year, and the succeeding 7x7 as the Jubilee year. 7 days were appointed as the length of the Feast of the Passover, and tabernacles: 7 days for ceremonies of the consecration for priests. The 7 years tribulation, 7 Spirits of God, 7 trumpets, 7 seals, 7 angels, 7 churches, 7 thunders, 7 stars, 7 candles, 7 candlesticks, 7 plagues, 7 bowls, 7 year tribulation, 7hills, etc.

The Hebrew word for seven occurs a total of 392 times in the Bible.

The times seven is used as a number by itself is 287 times.

There are two other words used in the Old Testament to mean seven. The aramaic word ([b'v] shib-aw') is used six times. A long form of the Hebrew word for seven (hn:[;b]vi shib-aw-naw’) is used once. In total these other words are used seven times.

The Hebrew word for a seventh (y[iybiv] sheb-ee-ee’) occurs 98 times

The Greek word for seven (eJptav hepta) occurs 87 times

Seven is used in only the first three of the gospels: 9 times in Matthew, 9 times in Mark, and 6 times in Luke.

It is used a total of nine times between the Gospels and Revelation.

Eight times in Acts and once in Hebrews.

Used a total of 54 times in the book of Revelation.

The Greek word seventh (e{bdomo" hebdomos) occurs nine times.

Seven times or seven fold (eJptavki" heptakis) occurs 3 times.

Seventy (eJbdomhvkonta hebdomenkonta) occurs 5 times. Seventy times or seventy fold (ejbdomhkontavki" hebdomenkontakis) occurs once. Together these two words occur 6 times. In total these words occur 105 times. So the total occurences are not only a multiple of three but of seven as well. This is interesting because 3 and 7 are the first two of the 'perfect numbers'.

Note about 7 in the Bible: Now that we are aware of the complimentary pattern of threes that appears in the New testament, it should be noted that there are three different words used in the Old Testament to mean, the number seven.

The number of times that the word for seven or one of its derivitive numbers (seventh, seventy etc.) appears in the entire Bible is 392. 595 in the Old Testament. Add the 105 occurences from the New Testament and we have the remarkable number 700. Taking the number of 700 arrived at above, if we add the other 434 occurences of words derived from the same root in the Hebrew we get a total of 1134. Naturally this is a multiple of seven, but it is also a multiple of 3 which also fulfills the pattern seen in the occurences of seven in the New Testament.

The total number of words based on the Hebrew and the Greek words for seven is, sixteen in the Old testament and five in the New Testament. Making a total of twenty one words. this again fills the pattern of both sevens and threes.

Words that are in the Bible 7 times are:

The words Purify - The Greek word aJgnivzw hag-nid’-zo which means, ceremonially or morally, to make pure, purify or cleanse.

The Word Air - The Greek word ajhvr ah-ayr’, meaning the air, particularly the lower and denser air as distinguished from the higher and rarer air, the atmospheric region.

They Wept

By Apostle Cathryn Hughes

Luke 19:41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it

I want to ask you a question to day. Why do people cry?

Crying is an emotion God gave to all of us to express feeling, compassion, hurt and pain. It's a normal emotion and does not mean you are a sissy if you cry if you are a man.

Jesus Wept with compassion: Why? He didn't stand in pride and was not afraid to share his emotions. He had compassion for the people to know God...

Luke 19:40-42 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

Jesus wept because the people would not believe:  John 11:11-43 This scripture is when Jesus went to see Lazereth who died and was in the tomb for 4 days already. He wept because the people would not believe.

Saul wept: when Saul sent 3,000 men after David to kill him; David hid it a cave. When David finally came out to meet Saul, David cut off his robe, Later David thought about what he did. For though Saul hated David because of jealousy, David still loved him. He felt guilty of what he did by cutting the robe of Saul. Saul ran out of the cave. Then David ran after Saul saying, "My Lord & King"  David bowed down on the ground and said to Saul...

1 Samuel 24:9-16And David said to Saul, Wherefore hearest thou men's words, saying, Behold, David seeketh thy hurt? Behold, this day thine eyes have seen how that the LORD had delivered thee to day into mine hand in the cave: and some bade me kill thee: but mine eye spared thee; and I said, I will not put forth mine hand against my lord; for he is the LORD's anointed. Moreover, my father, see, yea, see the skirt of thy robe in my hand: for in that I cut off the skirt of thy robe, and killed thee not, know thou and see that there is neither evil nor transgression in mine hand, and I have not sinned against thee; yet thou huntest my soul to take it. The LORD judge between me and thee, and the LORD avenge me of thee: but mine hand shall not be upon thee. As saith the proverb of the ancients, Wickedness proceedeth from the wicked: but mine hand shall not be upon thee. After whom is the king of Israel come out? after whom dost thou pursue? after a dead dog, after a flea. The LORD therefore be judge, and judge between me and thee, and see, and plead my cause, and deliver me out of thine hand. And it came to pass, when David had made an end of speaking these words unto Saul, that Saul said, Is this thy voice, my son David? And Saul lifted up his voice, and wept.

David and the people wept when their people were captured...

1 Samuel 30:1-4

And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire; And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way. So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives. Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep.

Peter Wept: from a guilty heart he wept...

Matthew 26:75 And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.

The people wept for Paul:

Paul wrote many books of the New Testament and had compassion for the Church. He encouaged the Church in his whole walk with God. He was a prime example of love for the body of Christ. Many of the years he lived in jail writing the epistles and he even encouraged the Church in a jail cell...This is why the people loved him so much and cared what happened to him.

Acts 20: 28-38Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel. Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me. I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all. And they all wept sore, and fell on Paul's neck, and kissed him, Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.

John Wept: When he saw the future and those not found in the  book of Life. Revelation 5: 1-5 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

A word on weeping:
Be not ashamed to cry when you need to. Let it flow. It does not matter if you are a woman or a man. It's good for your soul. Crying shows you are a real man or a real woman of God,  with compassion. When a person can cry it shows they can be broken before God. Crying does not have anything to do with pride. It does not mean you are 'not a man' if you cry. This world has been trained to think that men are not allowed to cry. This is a lie of Satan..  Many have forgotten how the people in the Bible lived, and how they opened up shared, and loved one another. Emotions is not what we run on, yet we can  allow ourselves to cry when God gives us compassion for others, and for Him. Crying helps us to release our emotions so they do not get trapped inside us and cause us heart problems and other medical stress, and is good for our health to cry. This is how God made us. Those who never cry, or allow themselves to, hold many things inside and are sometimes not able to have compassion for others. Many miss out on the gift God gave for us to have for our brothers and sisters.

James 4:8-10 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

The Lord Responds to the Persistent, Consistent and Diligent

By Rev. Cathryn Hughes

God desires his people to be steadfast, to be persistent, consistent in our walk with God, and diligent in Jesus.

In our act to sow for God we must know the meanings of sow, and all that comes with it to reach our blessing. And also the meanings of persistent, consistent, and diligent. It takes them all to reach the victory in our life.

According to Strong's Hebrew Lexicon: The following are meanings to the word Sow in Hebrew and their meanings:

#2232 zara` zaw-rah' a primitive root; to sow; figuratively, to disseminate, plant,  fructify:--bear, conceive seed, set with sow(-er), yield.

#4900 mashak 'maw-shak' a primitive root; to draw, used in a great variety of applications (including to sow, to sound, to prolong, to develop, to march, to remove, to delay, to be tall, etc.):--draw (along, out), continue, defer, extend, forbear, X give, handle, make (pro-, sound)long, X sow, scatter, stretch out.

According to merriam-webster online:

The Word Persistent means:
1. Existing for a long or longer than usual time or continuously: as a : retained beyond the usual period
2. 2 a : continuing or inclined to persist in a course b : continuing to exist despite interference or treatment

2. Consistent means:
1 Possessing firmness or coherence
2.Marked by harmony, regularity, or steady continuity : free from variation or contradiction

3. Diligent means:
Characterized by steady, earnest, and energetic effort

Genesis 26:12
Then Isaac sowed seed in that land and received in the same year a hundred times as much as he had planted, and the Lord favored him with blessings.

Why? Because Isaac did not run from the drought that was to come. He planted his seeds and stayed in the drought and waited until it was over. In fact, God blessed Isaac at the end of one year--God blessed him a hundred fold with crops. AMEN

Exodus 6:8
And I will bring you into the land concerning which I lifted up My hand and swore that I would give it to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and I will give it to you for a heritage. I am the Lord [you have the pledge of My changeless omnipotence and faithfulness].

Deuteronomy 7:9
Know, recognize, and understand therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, Who keeps covenant and steadfast love and mercy with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations,

1 Samuel 26:23
The Lord rewards every man for his righteousness and his faithfulness; for the Lord delivered you into my hands today, but I would not stretch forth my hand against the Lord's anointed.

No matter how the circumstances are in this world today; God is watching all of us in the body of Christ. He is allowing all of the challenges to come to this earth. How are we keeping with God? Are we being persistent in our walk with God? Are we consistent and not wavering? Are we diligent and determined to stay faithful to God no matter the cost?

Romans 16:26
But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

Today we are faced with many hurricanes, volcanoes, super volcanoes, killers, famines, droughts, and plagues. tsunamis, typhoons, hurricanes, wars, persecutions, trials, hate, distructions, wars, troubles, plagues, and  did you ever stop to think that in the Old testament times, there were many who also faced with many types of testings and troubles the same as us? And Those who lived a righteous life saw God bring them through and were blessed.

2 Corinthians 10:5
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

When challenges come our way, we should never run from them. And we don't have to war against people because we don't like their ways. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood.

God is not the author of confusion, nor wants his children running from their problems, or starting them.  We are to face the challenges God allows to come into our dailing lives-with grace and prayer.

God always shows His sheep what to do. So if you really stop to think about it, there is no need to fear. Running is not an option. How can we learn from challenges if we don't want to go through them? If we never face problems how can we know how to solve them? We must grow in them too.

Challenges may be hard to go through, and also help us learn how God will bless us at the end of them. So we have to be persistent, consistent, and diligent to God in them. To hold fast in the profession of our faith, and not waver or doubt.

2 Corinthians 10:6
And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Hebrews 5:8
Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

We also suffer, yet we should not focus on the suffering. If we focus on 'thankfulness' knowing He will bring us through, then our attitude will be better, and God will bless us because of that--our focus will be on Jesus instead of our problem. AMEN

1 Peter 1:2
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied

In the blood of Jesus and the Power of the Holy Spirit we can face each challenge, and make it through to the blessing! Hallelujah. This shows great faith.

If we are going to be warriors for Christ, we need to act like one right?

1 Corinthians 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

When Jesus saw the officer and he was using his authority and shared this with Jesus. Jesus was so amazed that finally someone showed some right authority and faith. Jesus told him I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.  (Luke 7:2-9 verses)

When we are persistent, consistent in being faithful to God in what we are doing, and diligent in His work no matter what the challenges are, God will truly bless us when it's over. Taking life slow and steady, really pays off. Staying balanced in God.

God responds to us when we are exercising these three things.

You will not miss the will of God if you exercise persistence, consistence, and diligence in God. AMEN You will not be running, and you will be steadfast, willing to learn and hear from God, and see clearly from him. Being persistant to know the Word and fill your mind with it, to have a prayer relationship with God, and to walk in the Holy Spirit each day. This keeps you balanced in persistance, consistance and diligence in the Lord.

God wants us to be firm in our faith, stay challenged and firmly planted in all we do for Him. When we are willing to stay, and not fight the fiery trials that come our way. When we remain faithful to God and keep busy for Him, He will bring many blessings because of our obedience and determination to stand even when the wind blows, the storms rise and the fire falls on us. AMEN

Abram was steadfast to the Lord. The amplified bible says
Genesis 15:6
And he [Abram] believed in (trusted in, relied on, remained steadfast to) the Lord, and He counted it to him as righteousness (right standing with God).

Exodus 19:9
And the Lord said to Moses, Behold, I come to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you and believe you and remain steadfast forever. Then Moses told the words of the people
to the Lord.

Deuteronomy 7:9
Know, recognize, and understand therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, Who keeps covenant and steadfast love and mercy with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations

Even Joshua knew what being steadfast was about. And this man had very big challenges, and had to wipe out the giant tribes, invade many places, and take possession of the land of God. And, when Joshua gathered the Israelites together to talk to them. one of the things he shared was this..

Joshua 23:6
So be very courageous and steadfast to keep and do all that is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, turning not aside from it to the right hand or the left

David was faced with challenges on all sides,  he had to endure so much. He was steadfast in God, even when his life was consistently in danger. He was persistent, consistent, and diligent, and God responded, as David  cried out to God when he needed help. God was ever faithful to hear and answer Him.

Psalm 5:7
But as for me, I will enter Your house through the abundance of Your steadfast love and mercy; I will worship toward and at Your holy temple in reverent fear and awe of You.

Psalm 18:50
Great deliverances and triumphs gives He to His king; and He shows mercy and steadfast love to His anointed, to David and his offspring forever.

Psalm 21:7
For the king trusts, relies on, and is confident in the Lord, and through the mercy and steadfast love of the Most High he will never be moved.

God will respond to us and hear us, and bless us when we are persistent, consistent in serving him and do it diligently.

We Wrestle Not Against Flesh and Blood

By Rev.Cathryn Hughes

Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

We are living in a real day of testing. And how we handle these testings will affect us spiritually. We are in a real spiritual battle and must keep our armour on, and stay closer in God than we ever have before. This means that we must be aware how we are dealing with others and the body of Christ and how we solve problems.  Are we doing it in a mature Christian way and following the promises of God?

In these last days the devil wants more than anything--to make Christians hate each other and unfortunately it's working for many.  The Church is not standing with one another like they should in love and as ONE. Many are so divided and many Church people act as if they joined a corporation the way they relate to one another. Where is the close bond of love we are supposed to have for the Church.

We must stand up as children of God and be ONE with each other and if any time we need to do that, in the Spirit it's NOW...

Many of the Church people spend much time shining their armour or fighting one another. many refuse to forgive and many point fingers at others and condemn people. Not givine account that they need to look in the mirror and correct their own selves. Love and forgiveness is needed.

Gossip is dividing friendships and fellowships and hurting and staining the Christian testimonies for the world...

What does the Bible say about some of the ways our character should be with each other? Well, one is it says not to be offended. We don't have to struggle with fighting with people for if we know God we won't waste our time doing that.

Jesus said in Matthew 11:6 "And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

Mark 12:24
Jesus answered and said to them, “Are you not therefore mistaken, because you do not know the Scriptures nor the power of God?

So how do we live in this day and age and overcome in God? By loving always and praying. By living day to day in Scriptures, knowing it and growing in it, and walking in the Spirit of God. Our battle is not with people, it's with powers. AMEN

So our Character should be to love and uplift one another, edifying one another and the Church. So we need to get back to what the Bible says... AMEN

When problems come up, sometimes they are initiated by the devil himself from one Christian to another, or from people to people. Many times we allow hate in our minds or madness, the devil is winning when we allow these things to rule in our lives and Christian walk. He laughs, hoping we will keep on hating or getting mad at people. He loves to see families torn apart and friends. But in reality, each time the body of Christ is torn away from each other, we become defeated in that situation, and some people can stumble and fall if we are not standing together in Christ. If we are not being a good example to others in Christ, we can actually become a stumbling block to them and if they fall we will be accountable. This is the Word.

Leviticus 19?14 “‘Do not curse the deaf or put a stumbling block in front of the blind, but fear your God. I am the LORD.

Ezekiel 3:20 “Again, when a righteous person turns from their righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before them, they will die. Since you did not warn them, they will die for their sin. The righteous things that person did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for their blood.

Matthew 16:23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”

Romans 14:13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.

1 Corinthians 8:9 Be careful, however, that the exercise of your rights does not become a stumbling block to the weak.

2 Corinthains 6:3 [ Paul’s Hardships ] We put no stumbling block in anyone’s path, so that our ministry will not be discredited.

As the body of Christ, we are not supposed to allow Satan to lead us, we are to follow God's lead.  We listen to Yeshua not Satan. So if we in listening to God. We will not make decisions to think wrong thoughts about people. If we are living in the Spirit, we will have a sound mind in Christ. AMEN

The devil seeks whom he may devour, and God always shows us to love one another. So you can see which ways that people choose to act like, by who their leader is. When we pray instead of fighting others, we wrestle not with them. As Christians, our job is not to fight and argue. Love has to reign in our temples if we are a child of God. What good does it do to argue and fight with someone?

Job 6:25
How forceful are right words! But what does your arguing prove?

1 Corinthians 10:4-6 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,  and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

So we are to love and forgive people who want to fight us, or get mad easy in the Body of Christ, who call us names, who hate us and even make false accusations. We are to forgive them and pray for them. It's very important how we treat each other as the Body of Christ. For we all have to answer to God for how we have treated each other.

When the enemy comes against us, and causes us trouble. Are we taking the authority we have in God to rebuke the devil?

How do we handle it? Which way do our thoughts go when someone offends us? Do we choose to get offended? Do we hate them or do we pray and forgive them? Do we decide to love them anyway? Do we take them to God?

When we give all circumstances to God in prayer, we are not left struggling with flesh issues, as far as our attitudes. AMEN So this is why the Bible says to not wrestle against flesh and blood. For there is no need to. We have God to go to, with everything we face. AMEN

When we work for God with a sincere heart. We not only learn how to be aware of powers and principalities that come against us, we have to remember that we are all humans, and can make mistakes. And we have to remember that anything that comes out of our mouths as Christians, can also discourage and cause a stumbling block to others--if it's not Godly in what we say.

A Godly rebuke is being honest with someone who has gone against how the Bible says to handle things. And rebuke is not meaning to be rude. Rebuke is correcting someone in love. And this is supposed to be done in a kind spirit and not in condemnation.

I know that some people don't like to be corrected, and some are not teachable. God loves us and corrects us and we can correct others who are doing wrong in the right ways. Not to discourage them. We should do it at the right times and with the right attitude. AMEN

Titus 2:15 says, "Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you."

Some people walk in emotions and therefore they get offended very easily. That is when we need a strong backbone in the Lord.AMEN That is when we have to learn to be stronger in our faith, not allow our emotions run our whole life. I mean God made them for us to be used in the right ways. It's only God that can give us that backbone we need to be stronger in Spirit in Him. AMEN.

I know myself, I have been in that situation before . I had to get  to where I didn't allow others to control my emotions. Just to let God show me. Then God made me stronger in that area. I learned how to listen to God's voice and to prove all things in Spirit. AMEN This brings the confidence you need in the Holy Ghost and gives you a better loving attitude in God.

It's ok to be honest with people too. If we just go around thinking we can't say anything or we will hurt other's feelings, and this prevents us from being honest about saying the truth. What good will that do? Yes, I agree that there is a time to NOT SPEAK and use wisdom, and other times you have to SPEAK UP, in God or you are not being honest and true to yourselves, others and God. As long as we do it in the Spirit, with a kind heart, and in an assertive way, not meaning to hurt anyone. That is what is most important.

There is a polite way to say things and a wrong rude way to. And you know, as well as I, that someone will complain no matter what you do. That is how the flesh works. So we don't worry about just pleasing people, we make sure we are pleasing God. The Lord will keep our minds right and keep us walking in the Spirit. AMEN

Proverbs 27:5
Open rebuke is better than secret love.

When we can't be a team in God, and in family of the Lord, and divisions are always there. It shows that many are wrestling against flesh and blood and not overcoming evil with good. It's time we all start walking in the Spirit together. AMEN

Jesus spoke up to the Sadducees and Pharisees when they were always putting Jesus down for doing God's will, For Jesus walked in the Spirit and they could not relate to that. Their relationship with God was all about laws, and they put on a HOLY Act and Jesus didn't fall for that. He even called them hypocrits, because they thought they were holy. Jesus knew better. Jesus knew they didn't follow the Spirit and walk in it, or they would not put him down, and go against him. AMEN

Jesus was hated so much for loving, and doing what was right in God's will. And He faced many oppositions as we will. This is why it's so important to walk in the Spirit of God and be strong in Him. Not worried about what other people do to us, and what they think. What matters is what God thinks of us. And that keeps us right with Him when we following the Leading of the Holy Spirit. We can't go wrong in this if we follow the Word of God and apply it into our lives. AMEN And we will be hated by the world too just like they hated Jesus. This is expected.

Jesus was in a situation where men where putting down the lady that anointed him. He didn't just sit there and let them treat her bad. He didn't allow them to dog her out. He Said something to quiet their negative talk against her. Jesus not only understood their attitudes, he also understood the woman's feelings. He took authority over the bad things going on. The bad talk. He became the peacemaker so that the verbal abuse would stop. So there is a time to stand up in God and take a stand in Him in the Spirit. AMEN

When our love is so strong in God, Nothing can separate us from the love of God. Right? Well if our love is so strong for God wouldn't it also be strong enough for ALL our brothers and sisters in Christ? No we are not all the same. We all have our own personalities, yet we are also responsible to keep loving each other even in our differences. AMEN

Romans 8:31-39 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Mark 6:7
[ Sending Out the Twelve ] And He called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits.

Then when do we become over-comers in God? By loving and forgiving and to staying in the Spirit with Jesus, and by not wrestling with others and fighting. Oh I know we are very tempted to get mad and hate others, and that is not the mind of Christ. If we have tried all we can try and a person refuses to love us in Christ, we have to give them to God, move on, for we can't force  anyone to love us. Right? And we have to pray for that person that maybe some day they will change their mind and decide to love the body of Christ.

Prayer is what changes things. Not gossip, troubles, rumors  arguments, or any fleshly thing. Just taking them to God in prayer helps us overcome doing things in the flesh on our own, that would get us into trouble in our spirit with God. So we have to know the wisdom of God if we want to be over-comers.  It's a choice we all have to make. How we handle things. For how we handle our situation determines if we will overcome the obstacles we face. And we will face many. And there is a way out of each one of them when God is in control of our lives. AMEN

In order to mature in God,  we have to face many trials to purify our lives, and to learn from. God will keep bringing them until we learn that step of our lives and overcome each step. Then he moves us onto the next. AMEN We are tried by fire and God brings us through that fire victorious in Jesus. AMEN

 Zechariah 13:9
And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

And in 1 Peter 1:7 it says,
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ

When we can keep growing in the deep things of God, and really understand the Word and what love is really about, and we can put down our weapons of the flesh and stop fighting people, and begin to love them. When we can put away gossip from our lips and can pray instead of saying bad things. When we can pray for people and lift each other up in God. That is when we can overcome and go forward in our love for Jesus.

God wants us strong the Word, In His  Spirit , with our armour on, using the authority in the Word to come against the devil and spiritual powers of darkness. This means we are not going to be going up against people but the powers. AMEN For God gave us all the tools we need to be great warriors for Him. Not wrestling against the flesh in this Spiritual War, for warring against powers we win in the Blood of Jesus and will never hurt the body or Christ or people--We will love them. And at the same time we will overcome Satan.

In Nigeria there is a cult of worshippers who believes sometimes that children are demon possessed. And they will curse them and even go as far as to kill them to destroy the works of evil. And what they don't realize is, if they were true in God, they would never harm a child. they would take dominion over that spirit and pray over that child. In this cult they wrestle with the things of the flesh to overcome darkness, But that is not what the Bible teaches. So you see. This happens in many ways worldwide, and people just don't know the Word, or they would use it correctly. And if people are truly a Christian and live by the Word and know what the flesh and the spirit is, they will understand what the Word means to obey God's Word and love others and know the right things to do in Jesus. AMEN

How do we keep these things balanced, to know when to not be around others who are saying bad things and loving them anyway? And praying for them? Avoid gossiping and walk away from it if you have to. I find myself doing that all the time. I refuse do be around listening to people say bad things about people. I would rather be with people who are saying good things than listen to gossip. Praying for them and taking them to God. Avoiding fights, arguing, and gossiping and pray instead is what God wants.

1 Timothy 6:3-10 says,
"If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions,  useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself. Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.  And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.  For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Jesus blood paid it all for us that is why we need not wrestle in the flesh at all. Let God have His way, as we just follow in Him, in love, in Prayer, and in the Spirit and His Word of  truth.

We Have Direct Access To God

By Apostle Cathryn Hughes

John 10: 9-10 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

When Adam and Eve were created they lived a perfect life. They had direct access to God. And the minute they sinned, though it was like shutting their ears from God. They didn't obey and listen to God. Because they messed up they shut off access to the Garden of Eden and were removed from that area. Feeling naked and afraid because of their sin they hid from God. God knew exactly what they did and how they felt. Our God is so forgiving that he did forgive them yet, he punished them so they would think before they sinned again.

To think that they were giving eternal life at the beginning and messed up. They had to face the consiquences of their actions. Women to have pain in childbirth and to serve a man. Men have to work by the sweat of their brow for their families.

Today God gives us direct access to God through the Blood of Jesus Christ. Who died and gave his life for us. He stands at the door waiting for those who will believe, to come in. He gives us access to God. and yet man choses to sin and not enter. They don't hear his voice.

Only through Jesus do we gave access to the throne of God.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

It took Jesus to come from heaven to give us all access to God so that we would not have to make any more animal sacrifices. He gave his own life and paid it all. He became the access door to eternity. He made it simple to enter. Yet the world is blind to His door.

Access to God is only given to the Believer of Christ, and not only are we given access, we are promised all the benefits of God's Word, because we are His. We are the sheep and the sheep hear His voice. He hears the sheeps voice.

John 10:2-4 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. Verse 7 also says, Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

We don't have to go through any other door to accomplish anything. We don't have to worry about life when we are God's sheep. We are children of the King. AMEN

One thing that feels good to me is Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us. He will meet all our needs if we seek Him first. These are promises we are guaranteed as a child of God. His Word has many unending benefits for our life.

No matter what this world goes through, no matter what man does to us on this earth, it does not affect our direct access to God. Nothing can separate us from the Love of God.

Luke 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Come to Abba Father, He loves you so much and wants you to have direct access to Him. The Holy Spirit will fill your life and guide you. God loves you and cares about you so much. Pray to him and ask him into your life, if you do not know Jesus. He died and rose again, so you could live eternally with Him.

We Have Direct Access to God!

Romans 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Ephesians 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

Ephesians 3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

Compassion In Our Hearts

By Rev.Cathryn Hughes
(Note: All scriptures in this content are from the Amplified Bible)

Psalm 112:5
It is well with the man who deals generously and lends, who conducts his affairs with justice.

I remember the homeless in Lagos on the street. Little children begging for money. My heart was gripped with compassion. For I knew they were hungry. I gave them something to help them.

My son and I used to go witnessing in compassion for the homeless who were digging through garbage, in the streets in California. Yes, we have many homeless here. Lots more than I saw in Lagos, Nigeria.  We would give them a hamburger and hug them saying, We love you and God loves you too. We had tears of compassion in our eyes.

The word tells us to feel with others what they go through. Let me share a scripture on that:

Romans 12 :15 Rejoice with those who rejoice [sharing others' joy], and weep with those who weep [sharing others' grief].

I have been moved with compassion when I see people sick and hardly able to move.

I have been hit with compassion when I see mentally ill people who can't live a normal life--out on the streets homeless, because they shut down the hospitals, and veterans in wheelchairs left on the streets with no help.

The compassion that God gives is real. And when we serve God, we will have that same love and compassion for people, our ministries will be full of compassion to serve people for God.  AMEN

There is nothing that compares to the compassion and love for people. It's genuine, and comes from the heart. The agape love of God has a way of showing us the needs of others, to pray for those sick. Not just to pray, we have a deep compassion of caring for that person. A compassion for an answer for them.

Jesus ministry consisted of thinking of other people, compassion for the helpless, bound and sick. He took the time to teach the sheep. He took the time to care about those in need. He healed them too. with a compassionate heart.

A Greek word agápē which means: This word represents divine, unconditional, self-sacrificing, active, volitional, and thoughtful love.

 Mark 6:34
As Jesus landed, He saw a great crowd waiting, and He was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and He began to teach them many things.

When we minister to people, it has to be anointed and from the heart of compassion. For The Word of God that is within a person, the gift of love shines from our hearts. Love can't be hidden. It has to be shared, and in the spirit of God. It shows that we care for others truthfully in Christ.

We do not use the ministry in a wrong fleshly way, to gain. We use what God called us to do. If we are only selfish to get our needs met, what good is it doing to the sheep?

True caring ministries are unable to help financially, because of hard times. Yet they can pray with you and agree and God will answer you. For this outweighs money anytime. AMEN for we die in Christ daily and allow Christ to live in us and move through us with compassion in the Spirit of God.

Compassion for others makes us prayerful, and can bring miracles to meet those same needs. Many ministers live, as in the days of the disciples and pray for those in need, and God delivers them. Many pastors who are real in God nowadays, have the same compassion Jesus had for people.

Not all pastors possess the real Spirit of Christ. Greedy runs many of them today, and they have no clue what a relationship with Christ is, nor the compassion for others. So it's important for us to reflect the love and compassion of Christ. Love is most important in God. AMEN

I know some may not like my statements, and you know, I have to be truthful. I can't color coat anything today.  We are in the last days. There are many false prophets around us. We must be able to discern. The world can see each one and know if they are real or not. Nobody can be fooled. People know who are real compassionate pastors, or not. For the sheep know His voice. And God never stops giving to the faithful with compassion. Even if some pastors fail the churches every day, God always will have compassion on his Sheep. AMEN

Many will fall away in the last days, from deceiving false prophets, and the world. We must stay strong for what is about to come upon the earth. If you really love God, no matter what happens, you will keep your faith and trust in God and keep your compassion for others. Never let it die! We must pray we always show compassion and love. No matter how people treat us, no matter what we face. We should have that in our heart from God and keep it. AMEN

I have been listening to David Wilkerson's videos about his vision God gave to him in 1973. And many of those things are being fulfilled today. The last days are among us. The compassion of Christ will not leave a person who is rooted in God.  David shared his visions with such compassion for the Church. Because David Wilkerson is true and genuine in God. His love flows for souls to be won for the Lord. He is not interested in your money. He is interested in you making it to heaven. AMEN  You can listen to his videos at http://youtube.com

God showed his compassion throughout the Word of God:

In Exodus 4:31 there is a passage that says:
And the people believed; and when they heard that the Lord had visited the Israelites, and that He had looked [in compassion] upon their affliction, they bowed their heads and worshiped.

Learning forgiveness for those who wronged us and keep loving. Put aside any bad feelings you have and move on in compassion:

1 Kings 8:50
And forgive Your people, who have sinned against You, and all their transgressions against You, and grant them compassion before those who took them captive, that they may have pity and be merciful to them;

God sends his messengers, His angels because he has compassion:

2 Chronicles 36:15
And the Lord, the God of their fathers, sent to them persistently by His messengers, because He had compassion on His
people and on His dwelling place.

In these trying times do you feel God has forgotten you?

Read 12.Psalm 77:9
Has God [deliberately] abandoned or forgotten His graciousness? Has He in anger shut up His compassion? Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

Psalm 111:4
He has made His wonderful works to be remembered; the Lord is gracious, merciful, and full of loving compassion.

What a forgiving God we have!  Look at what God said in Isaiah 54:6-8 For the Lord has called you like a woman forsaken, grieved in spirit, and heartsore--even a wife [wooed and won] in youth, when she is [later] refused and scorned, says your God.For a brief moment I forsook you, but with great compassion and mercy I will gather you [to Me] again.8In a little burst of wrath I hid My face from you for a moment, but with age-enduring love and kindness I will have compassion and mercy on you, says the Lord, your Redeemer.

God's promise to those who believe and hold fast, trusting in God and not losing hope in these last days:

Isaiah 54:10
For though the mountains should depart and the hills be shaken or removed, yet My love and kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace and completeness be removed, says the Lord, Who has compassion on you.

Isaiah 55:3
Incline your ear [submit and consent to the divine will] and come to Me; hear, and your soul will revive; and I will make an everlasting covenant or league with you, even the sure mercy (kindness, goodwill, and compassion) promised to David.

Do you pray for people with compassion? Do you really care about the sheep? Is that really your focus, like Christ?

Matthew 14:14
When He went ashore and saw a great throng of people, He had compassion (pity and deep sympathy) for them and cured their sick.

God has compassion for you my friends!  When we live in Christ we will share in these same feelings for others too. AMEN

Luke 1:50
And His mercy (His compassion and kindness toward the miserable and afflicted) is on those who fear Him with godly reverence, from generation to generation and age to age.

Jesus shared the example that we should also be:

Luke 6:36
So be merciful (sympathetic, tender, responsive, and compassionate) even as your Father is [all these].

Jesus' compassion toward women:

Luke 7:13
And when the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, Do not weep.

When we feel sympathy and compassion towards others, it shows the truth in our lives. For it's real and from God in our hearts.

Philippians 2:1-2 SO BY whatever [appeal to you there is in our mutual dwelling in Christ, by whatever] strengthening and consoling and encouraging [our relationship] in Him [affords], by whatever persuasive incentive there is in love, by whatever participation in the [Holy] Spirit [we share], and by whatever depth of affection and compassionate sympathy,  Fill up and complete my joy by living in harmony and being of the same mind and one in purpose, having the same love, being in full accord and of one harmonious mind and intention.

James 3:17
But the wisdom from above is first of all pure (undefiled); then it is peace-loving, courteous (considerate, gentle). [It is willing to] yield to reason, full of compassion and good fruits; it is wholehearted and straightforward, impartial and unfeigned (free from doubts, wavering, and insincerity).

Things are going to get harder in these last days, and so we need to be stronger in Christ. God makes a way to give us power of the Holy Spirit and we won't have to fear anything that happens around us. It will not move us. We will no lose our love and compassion for people IF we stand in the Word and stay close to God. It's important that we lean on the Father God for all things. Trusting truly with a firm foundation as we face harder times. REMEMBER GOD IS IN CONTROL. AMEN

James 5:11
You know how we call those blessed (happy) who were steadfast [who endured]. You have heard of the endurance of Job, and you have seen the Lord's [purpose and how He richly blessed him in the] end, inasmuch as the Lord is full of pity and compassion and tenderness and mercy.

1 Peter 3:8
Finally, all [of you] should be of one and the same mind (united in spirit), sympathizing [with one another], loving [each other] as brethren [of one household], compassionate and courteous (tenderhearted and humble).

1 John 3:17
But if anyone has this world's goods (resources for sustaining life) and sees his brother and fellow believer in need, yet closes his heart of compassion against him, how can the love of God live and remain in him?

Let Your Light So Shine (what a candle represents in the tabernacle verses the Church)

By Rev. Cathryn Hughes

Is your candle of love shining on your bothers and sisters in Christ?
Is your candle a beacon of light to the hopeless and sinner?

Did you know, that if you go into a dark room, and you light one small candle,  this small little candle will light up the whole room? Yes try it and see. This is a good demonstration to show the congregation how much of a light they are to the world. When you show the believers how important it is to be a light to all people in the Love of Christ, then you are feeding the sheep the good news of Jesus Christ.

When God made a candlestick he made it holy for the altar. Each candlestick was beaten into shape. Doesn't this sound like us? We are molded and shaped in the Lord to glow for Jesus. He wants a pure bride to shine.

Exodus 25:31
And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.

We are the the branches of God. And the Bowls were used in the temple too. In heaven they are used as bowls of incense for the prayers of the saints.

God wants equality and ONENESS in his body, He made the branches all connect to Him and each other, and reach all sides. We were adopted by God, the gentiles as his very own. Not to call us step kids but to call us His Children, His sheep.

Exodus 25:33
Three bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick.

In order to shine for Jesus we must be pure in Him and pray, love and care for others. We must find an altar of prayer and pray for the saints and for souls to be saved.

Exodus 31:8
And the table and his furniture, and the pure candlestick with all his furniture, and the altar of incense

Shepherds are to shine with love for the sheep and the Church. To be in the order of God's will and calling. To be a light so that others light will shine also. And to feed the sheep so that they can shine for Jesus too and win the lost also. Disciples for Christ. AMEN

Exodus 40:4
And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.

Leviticus 24:4
He shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the LORD continually.

When making the tabernacle, they had 4 flags:

One purple (meaning Royalty) one flag was white,  (meaning man, servant). One flag was red, (Meaning Savior and redeemer) One flag was blue, representing The Son of God. They used the same colors for the gate stones, there are four colors of the Gospels.

There were four offices of Jesus:
Jesus the King - (Matthew) - PURPLE
Jesus the man and servant (Mark) - WHITE
Jesus as Savior- Book of (Luke) - RED
Jesus the Son of God (John) - BLUE

When you see the word Oil in the Bible, it represents the Anointing and light. Spices represent Worship.

The veil took you to the presence of God is sealed "LIFE".

Numbers 4:9
And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:

Silver represents Redemption or redeemer, and as you read this scripture as they were preparing the temple. You will see how the Church, each one of us as candles have to be covered in redemption.

Gold represents divinity.

Chronicles 28:15
Even the weight for the candlesticks of gold, and for their lamps of gold, by weight for every candlestick, and for the lamps thereof: and for the candlesticks of silver by weight, both for the candlestick, and also for the lamps thereof, according to the use of every candlestick.

Even job knew what it was like to walk in the light during his dark times.

Job 29:3
When his candle shined upon my head, and when by his light I walked through darkness;

David was a candle for God too.

Psalm 18:28
For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.

Our spirit is the candle of the Lord.

Proverbs 20:27
The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.

It's so important for us to Let our light shine unto the world to save the sinners so their candle will not be put out.

Proverbs 24:20
For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.

Jeremiah even knew the importance of the candle.

Jeremiah 25:10
Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle.

Jesus tells about a candle..

Matthew 5:15
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Luke 8:16
No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.

Luke 11:36
If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.

The Sanctuary...

Hebrews 9:2
For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.

Revelation 1:12
And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

Revelation 1:13
And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

Revelation 1:20
The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

*Church of Ephesus:
Rev. 2: 1Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

*Church of Smyrna:
Rev.1:8And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;

*Church of Pergamos:
Rev.1:12And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;

*Church of Thiatyra:
Rev. 1:18And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;

*Church of Sardis:
Rev.3:1And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

*Church of Philadelpia:
Rev.3:7And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

*Church of Laodiceans:
Rev.3:14And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

Revelation 22:5
And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

It's good to read about the Churches in Revelation every once in awhile and to see what Jesus said to each one (at least once a year) to examine how we are living, so that we can apply it to our own lives and be purified before God. This way our light will forever shine and not be dimmed. AMEN

Let your Light So Shine!

By Apostle Cathryn Hughes

Ephesians 6:12 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]."

We are living in a Spiritual warfare as Christians. As believers, we really need to understand what we are up against and how to handle situations. To overcome all obstacles that the devil brings to us means we must have our 'spiritual eyes' opened. When we live in the Spirit of God, we should know the right ways to handle the spiritual battles we face. Many in the body of Christ who are not prepared, end up fighting people instead of against Spiritual warfare. They do not know how to distinguish the difference...Or they forget...

First of all God has to be the one to open a spiritual eyes... Let me show you what the Word says...

Ephesians 2:2
Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience

Romans 8:7
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

John 4:23-24 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. We need to know the Word, read it every day,  praying walking in the Spirit, 24 hours a day, prayed up, with our armour on, and our 'spiritual eyes' opened, knowing what is around us at all times in God, we will know the difference in: why people say what they do and their heart condition.

If people speak from their mouth guile, or evil, they are not possessing the fruits of the spirit. If they are warning us to help us not be harmed, this is different.
That is ok but when people are spewing evil and hate from their lips their heart is not right with God. So we must be able to discern this in the Spirit of God.

Proverbs 27:5
Open rebuke is better than secret love.

It's better to rebuke and bind evil spirits in the Lord, so they will flee. Rebuke is only correcting and helping not hurting someone. Being honest and dealing with a problem in the right way, as the righteous should do.

Proverbs 24:25
But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them.

There  are times that the people who speak guile and meanness to each of us, and we can't  rebuke them, for many have a rebellious attitude and are sinners. They are not teachable and have a rebel spirit.

Isaiah 30:1
Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:

Isaiah 30:9 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD

1 Samuel 15:23
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

The Bible also tells us to flee from evil and sometimes we have to pray to ourselves over them, and can't approach them
Sometimes we pray in secret for their deliverance. For when you try to rebuke a person and they will not listen, they will be the one to suffer. See what the Word says...

Psalm 39:11
When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely every man is vanity. Selah.

Proverbs 9:7
He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.

When you rebuke a Christian, or correct them, sometimes they are teachable and the problems can be solved. But when you correct an evil rebel, or a lukewarm person who is not teachable, (who is also a rebel in his heart) then it will do not good. This is why we forgive them and let it go and pray for them and bind that spirit that has a hold on their life. AMEN

Proverbs 9:8
Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.

Proverbs 13:1
A wise son heareth his father's instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.

So each circumstance will be different. When you are walking in the Spirit,God will reveal to you what to do, and how to handle it. AMEN

Knowing and discerning Spiritual Warfare!

We don't have to be abused by these people. We can say "I rebuke you satan from your lies and bind that spirit" if we are verbally attacked by people. I know I have had to go through this before many times, and God has shown me how to handle every situtation like this.

Proverbs 29:2
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

One time a man was  say negative things to me, and treat me bad and had a bad spirit towards me. He was very prideful and mean. I got tired of him trying to oppress me, especially knowing I am a child of God. I was very mad at Satan for using his mouth against me! inside and I was not knowing what to do. God showed me how to stop this... God showed me to rebuke Satan to his face...I decided one time when he was acting so evil, to say to him in his face, "I bind this spirit of satan, in Jesus name! I rebuke satan and all of his lies."   and you know what happened? He never oppressed me again. AMEN Hallelujah!

I realized I had the authority I had in Jesus, and to exercise it more, to overcome these spirits.  I didn't have to stay in a pitiful situation and take it. I could do something about it in the Lord. Now this person has respect for me. AMEN

Proverbs 24:25
But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them

Jesus gives us authority over the devil. We don't have authority over people but we do have authority of what is coming at us. AMEN We can stop the devil right in his tracks by taking the Authority God gave to us. Don't be shy when it comes to battle or you will be defeated. As a warrior for Christ we are to stand up in the devils face with confidence in God. We need not be afraid for fear is a defeating factor. And the devil will defeat you if you stand in fear. We are called to be warriors not wimps! AMEN

Mark 1:22
And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.

Mark 1:27
And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey

Mark 10:42
But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.

Mark 13:34
For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

Luke 9:1
Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.

So to be an overcomer, you have to learn how to be a warrior for Christ..
Not only possess the valuable fruits of the Spirit we also also need the authority in the Spirit. AMEN

Some Christians live a lukewarm life, and this leaves their lives opened to sin and  they can develop evil habits, get attitudes of hate and prejudice, and affect the body of Christ. The devil can use these people's mouths to put others down to their face causing: Strife, gossip, division, hate in the body of Christ.
These are not the fruits or authority in God when they are destroyed from lukewarmness and sin. AMEN!

How do we overcome this and deal with spiritual warfare?

Know the Bible, study it and allow God to show you spiritual things.
Live in the fruit of the Spirit:

Galatians 5:22-23But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance:
against such there is no law.

What do we need besides the fruits of the Spirit?

Praying and talking to God, listening to what the Spirit says to us. To arm ourselves with the full armour of God and We also need authority in Christ.

When God made the animals they love their young and care for them and when danger comes up against the babies, they are so protective of them. They take authority over danger to protect their young. This is what God gave to each of them.

God gives us authority in His Spirit against all darkness and evil powers. Many of us forget about the authority we have in Christ, and only focus on the fruits of the Spirit, which is necessary to have and live in, and yet, we also need to remember that Satan send people that will approach us, by those who allow the devil to attack us verbally. SPIRITUAL WARFARE!  And if we have our armour on as God wants us to have on, then we can stand up in the devil's face and rebuke him and resist him, and he will flee! We will know exactly what God wants us to do and how to handle our situation we are faced with.

Let me point out something... We do not use the Authority in the Spirit to hurt people or put them down, or oppress anyone...

2 Corinthians 10:8
For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed

Titus 2:15
These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

When Jesus was with the disciples, they would take on a 'not so good attitude' and sometimes not say things in the spirit, allowing the devil to talk through their mouth. Jesus would tell the devil, "Get behind me satan!"
Jesus showed the authority we need to take when people say nonsense or have judging spirits towards us. We are not putting the person down, we are taking authority over satan and forgiving those who talk gossip, or are being too judging of us and tearing us down.

Sometimes we are not ready for that, and when we are at our weakest point, we must also wear the armour of God then too! We should be ready always, because the enemy comes to devour us. And it's not being said by me now to scare anyone. NO WAY! For God makes us strong enough to overcome. And we need also authority.

You can be sweet, loving and kind, and to be balanced totally in God you must also have that authority in God for protection. This is the overcoming strength God gives to us. We can be defeated if we do not have his armour on, and become warriors for Christ. There is no way you can be ready for the enemy if you are not wearing it. AMEN!

The Bible says

Matthew 7:21
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

So if you hear people say they are Christian, and they are not living right, and they only speak condemnation, judging words, and hate, and do not live right by God, you must rebuke that Spirit in God. Not putting the person down. There are two things to remember.

1. Loving People, and

2. Dealing with discerning spirit within people, these are two different things. For this is Spiritual warfare.

The devil will use the mouths of the lukewarm Christian to destroy the Church. And many are not aware they do those things. Many who do not live right, or many Christians who do not know the word well. And when you allow Lukewarm to mingle with the believers (who really live the life,) this puts thorns and problems in our midst, causing the leaven in the Church. Even Jesus spoke of this. "A little leaven, leaventh the whole lump"
So if a person is lukewarm and not living right around other brothers and sisters in God, and causes problems in the Body of Christ, and the believers, isn't it our duty as Christians to rebuke this and take authority over that
bad spirit against satan, so the body of Christ will not be blemished from sin and these lukewarm things?

Please note: We can't treat these people with hate or be mean to them, we are fighting the devil--not people. it's a spiritual warfare, so we need to remember that...We also have the responsibility to teach people about lukewarm lives and the consequences for living that way. We need to feed the sheep!

Loving all people, yet making sure we take a stand against the enemy when he strikes. or tries to corrupt the body of Christ AMEN Resist the devil and he will flee. This is a promise!

If a pastor allows a lady to come to the service exposing her body to the Church because of her lukewarm lifestyle, this can cause many men to sin. So this needs to be stopped to respect the House of God, and to keep righteousness in the Church. There are many ways that we all can take Charge for Jesus without hurting others. And at the same time, protect each other from sinning. AMEN! Corrections have to be made. AMEN!

The Bible says if you hate your brother and say you love God, the love of the Father is not in you. So you see, a person saying they are a Christian but living a Lukewarm, Jesus will spew them out of his mouth.

The devil is a liar and Father of lies. When we are weak, he tries to raise his head and speak through people just as he did to Jesus...
Jesus took authority over him and took his stand against Satan.

One time a person was putting me down a lot, and I got so tired of it that I decided to rebuke satan to his face. I did it and he never oppressed me again. God showed me in my heart what to do and I took my stand in Jesus. AMEN! I don't allow the enemy to win. It's a spiritual battle

What comes out of a person's mouth is from their heart. Jesus said it this way...

Matthew 12:34
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh

And when people are not living like they should n Christ, the devil can use their mouth against you. So when we keep our full armour on, we can stand up in the devils face and stomp on his head. AMEN There are many ways you can handle this situation too.

It's a spiritual warfare we are going up against.

If we allow men to be abusive to us, it only tears it down.
If we take our stand in the authority in Christ, then the devil can't win.

So next time you are faced with someone trying to oppress you, use your authority Christ gave to you, and rebuke the devil and God will give you the victory. AMEN

If more Christians knew this there would be less fights in the Church, more people loving each other , more deliverance, more  would overcome these tests and trials and there would be more unity in the Church. We need to stop fighting one another, taking authority over the bad spirits instead. AMEN

If we love more, and forgive those who allow satan to speak through them ,and bind satan, then they would be loosed from these spirits and we would be helping our brothers and sisters to be delivered AMEN

One more point I want to say is--Be careful you do not use your authority the wrong way to where you try to control everyone, or use it to hurt anyone. God never gives us authority to abuse anyone at all. Use  authority in God's Spirit for righteousnesssake !AMEN  So the focus is to be totally honest with your mouth and use it to glorify God. And to use it correctly for Spiritual Warfare!

Don't allow the devil to use your mouth. Have self control in Jesus. Love,  and prayer. And when you have discernment in God, you will know when people allow the devil to use their mouth.AND you will know how to handle it.

When the presence of God is ruling your life, it will shake up the devil sometimes and he will try you. T

See how Jesus handled it when he binded the spirits from a possessed person

Mark 1:25
And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.

When Jesus corrected Peter he said,

Mark 8:33
But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

Another time Jesus said this to the disciples:

Luke 9:54-56 (KJV)
And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

Proverbs 28:23
He that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue.

Psalm 97:10
Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

Psalm 140:11
Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.

Proverbs 8:13
The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

We are to love people and hate sin...

Proverbs 15:28
The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.

Ecclesiastes 7:5
It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.

Jesus gave us these words...

Matthew 21:21
Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this

So the next time your 'So Called' Christian friends put you down, slam you, say bad things to your face, and try to condemn you when you know you live in the Spirit. Remember who is leading them to act this way and see that they need prayer. Also remember this..

Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

We live in Spiritual Warfare, and God gives us victory to overcome the enemy!
